NSA attempted to hack Alexa and it can only be listened into when the user accesses it.

If the NSA can't do it, I think it's hard for anyone to.
That's assuming the NSA didn't hack it. Just because we know about a failed attempt doesn't mean they didn't succeed on a different try.

That's also assuming that they even need to hack it and that Amazon hasn't given them a back door. It's not like companies haven't done that before and Amazon already played nice with law enforcement when it comes to cameras.

I posted about this in the don't complain about ads thread where I probably shouldn't have.

Anyway, all of a sudden I've got these video ads showing up. It's only happening on ASFN. I'm a subscriber so I don't get any other ads.. Came out of nowhere.. wth??

No idea on that one. Less porn maybe?

I can put up with the video ads on desktop because they're out of the way but they're a real pain on my phone.

btw, I'm not a porn guy, that and Gentlemen's clubs give me the creeps. Not saying I've never watched porn but I'm betting maybe 30min in my whole life. Never even watched Deep T.h.r.o.a.t... can you believe language filter caught that>

Stupid joke #129567 "I like to have sex with my socks on. It's just me and my computer anyway"

I've received multiple notifications of a Smart Event which is endangering a disk in my Intel Optane memory.

What the heck?

So far tech support hasn't been able to figure out the problem.

My Galaxy S9 bit the dust so I bought an S22. It connects to unsecured wifi everywhere.. hotels, airports, restaurants etc. The S9 would connect to Southwest Airlines in flight, no problem. The S22 won't connect to it... and no, it's not in airplane mode. I've looked at all the settings but I can't figure out why Southwest is the only one it won't connect to... no clue. Any ideas?

I know it's a meme at this point, but restart the phone. If Southwest is a saved network, select it, tell your device to 'forget' it, and try again fresh.

May or may not help.

Will do. I'm flying again next week so I'll try that. A funny thing did happen on the flight. Dude next to me had the same Bose headphones as I do. Mine would connect to his and his to mine... huh? Being the gentleman I am, I turned mine off so he could use his.
