Since this is the official thread, I'll put my 4-12 on it. Some of you folks posting 9-7 need to take a look at this nice NYC bridge I have for sale.

I'have the honor of being right under Harry. I say 8-8 and we will be talking about the "what if's" during the season and how we might have been in the playoffs had it not been for those "what if's". I'll eat my hat if we win only 4 games.

I think 7-9 is the call. We are hurting at CB. The WR's are a concern and it will be at least half way through the season before we start to see consistent production from this unit. New OC with a new system. Revamped D scheme. O-line will take some time to get into synch. BIG still has a broken hand so he will be at least somewhat limited. Kendell is still working up to speed at C. Clement hasn't played a real game for how long now? Bell is out for the first 2 to 3 games. King, Pace and Bryant are still learning on the job.

Having said all of that I am still very hopefull for the a decent season and expect this team to earn a lot of respect and win some games that will suprise people.

It seems a common hope is that the Cards get off to a fast start and that seems unlikely at this point. We could lose to the Lions and the Seahawks look to be in the running this year. Then we host the Packers. 1 win in the first 3 games is a reality. The good news is that we could win all 3.

I just want to see a team to grow ans show progress each week. I want to see a full effort with our young players on D making some plays. I want to see the QB get hit, hurried, pressured and sacked far more often than last year.

What?
I look and see 9-7 as a good possibility. There is always that one game a team shouldn't have won but did. Or the game they shouldn't have lost but did. This years attitude makes us win one we shouldn't. Sooooo....

10-6

7-9 is what I look at with who we play this year. If this team didn't have so many ?marks I would say that there are as many as ten games that we have a shot at. I think it will depend a lot on how healthy this team is through the season.

I'm very hopeful, but, if I had a gun to my head, I'd have to say 6-10. But, that's better than the 3-13 record I predicted for last season!

6-10

I see wins over Baltimore, Cinn, Dallas,
Chicago, and a split in the Division with
Seattle and SF....

Cards have not faired well on opening day...
DET is beatable, but maybe not so much on their
home turf....

Most people are giving them a win over Carolina
and MINN, but I think those 2 teams might be among the MOST IMPROVED in the NFC. I think Carolina makes the Playoffs!

Week to week:

0-1
1-1
1-2
1-3
2-3
3-3 Everyone see hope at the break (including me)
bye
4-3 wow! looking good
5-3 is this for real?
5-4
5-5
5-6
6-6 back to .500 -- gotta chance...
6-7 season ends with trip to SF
6-8
6-9
6-10

I see us

at 9-7 with the possibility of being even better. Some of those guaranteed losses are question marks, especially the home games. Barring a rampage of injuries we could very well be the darlings of the NFL this year.

Noone in the world according to Garp thinks we will get out of last place. The worlds greatest say 4,5 or 6 wins.
Maybe , but I say we win a few early and we get better as the season goes on.

I'm sticking with 10 up and 6 down.

But for today we are tied for first place and have not lost at all.
