Can't create for himself, can't create for teammates, can't put the ball on the floor, can't shoot off the dribble, can't catch and shoot wide open jumpers at a good rate, can't defend any player in the league..
And do you know what the funny thing is?

Even in NCAA:

He wasn't that great when he had to create his own shot because of his average athleticism.
He couldn't create for teammates.
He couldn't put the ball on the floor.
He couldn't shoot off the dribble.
Yes,he could catch and shoot wide open jumpers at good rate.
He was only an average defender at the best.

So all in all it's not a big surprise that he struggles in NBA in his rookie year.

The Suns are losing this series because the Spurs are a better team. Phoenix has some challenges to throw at San Antonio, and San Antonio has some challenges to throw at Phoenix. When you add it up, however, San Antonio just has more answers.

It is true that one answer the Suns don't have is how to match up at center. Does anyone really believe that Tsakalidis could defend Robinson/Duncan/Rose any better than the current Suns "centers" are? Sure, I suppose it's worth a try here or there, but there's no particular reason to think it might work. Tsakalidis hasn't shown much at all this season against anyone except O'Neal -- and while it's true that he hasn't been given the chance, that mistake has already been made.

I agree big Jake may not be the answer and the Spurs are a better team, however it is very frustrating to watch them get beaten by the same mistakes at both ends every game and no adjustments are made.

I just saw CNN's NBA highlights. Malik Rose posted CJ. Maybe this explains his 27 points? I can't understand how FJ plays Williams, Outlaw and CJ and won't give a minute to 7''2 player.

I think Big Jake would be totally useless. If they use Big Jake they'll have to go away from the 4 corner offense which has made them successful for the last couple of months of the regular season and the post season. They'll also have to change up they're whole defense scheme with the perimeter defenders staying at home in the zone and really stoping they're men from (which i'm not sure they can do).

Okay, I thought about this, and I really do think Big Jake could help. Obviously he isn't going to do much on offense, but he certainly isn't going to do much less than Little Jake and Bo Outlaw have done for most of this series.

Defensively he clogs the middle. He will definitely improve the rebounding because he is better than the other Phoenix Suns "big men" at getting position, and he has the size to do it.

Look, I don't think anybody is asking Frank Johnson to start playing Big Jake 30-40 minutes per game. Nobody is asking him to guard Tim Duncan one-on-one. But when the Suns are getting their butts kicked by 20+ points in the first half you to wouldn't hurt to try something different for just a few minutes. It's not like the 4 corner offense is lighting it up right now. The Suns are averaging a whopping 86.7 points per game (including one overtime) on 39.3% shooting. That's pretty pathetic.

Not to mention we have had players foul out every game mainly due to guarding Duncan/Rose/Robinson inside. Penny and Outlaw last night, Scott, Voskhul and Stoudemire have gotten in foul trouble throughtout the whole series. At least big Jake is another body we can throw at Duncan. When you are down by 24, got outrebounded 31-11 and have big guys in foul trouble, give big Jake a few minutes wouldn't hurt.

I say we put Big Jake in and tell him not to leave the paint. If the refs call him for 3 second violations then we know this whole series has been BS because they refuse to call those against SA.

It's like SA just keeps pushing the envelope to see how much they can get away with and the refs just keep letting them do more and more without calls against them. I counted robinson and duncan in the lane for over 8 seconds on numerous possession in the last game and no calls. I think there was 1 3 sec violation against the spurs the entire game.

Guys, neither Tim Duncan, nor David Robinson, nor any other Spurs players are beating the Suns. Neither are the officials.
It's Greg Popovich who is beating wanna-be coach Johnson.

Mike Dunleavy would have won this series in 5 games.
