This team can't tackle worth a ^%$#!!! Most of the bad things that have happended this game are a direct result of bad tackling. Yes.... Warner threw a crappy pass, but bad tackling allowed this moose to lumber 100 yards to the goal line.

Good word for that run back. I wouldn't even call it a pick six really. Maybe a stroll six.

While I agree that the team can't tackle, it was the offense. I bet half of them saw the big oaf and thought someone else would catch him. No way stevie wouldn't have caught him until the goalline unless he was either blocked for a long time or waited to cut him off.

Rules question...

If a player is out of bounds and touches a player that is in bounds with the ball, does that kill the play?

I know that if a player that's out of bounds touches a free ball (like on a kickoff) then the ball is considered to have been kicked out of bounds and it's a penaltyon the kicking team.

Didn't Fitz touch him while he was out of bounds? Shouldn't that have killed the interception at that point?

I could be totally wrong but I thought that if a player touches something that's out of bounds that it made him out of bounds too.

No. The player has to physically go OB. That rule is for the ball.

I could swear I saw a game 4 or 5 years ago where replay called back a play becasue an out of bounds player grabbed the inbounds player that had the ball.

Seems to me it was a Seahawks game but I can't remember now.

Like I said, I could be imagining it and be 100% wrong. It was just my first thought when I saw Fitz out of bounds and grabbing him... of course if Fitz went out of bounds on his own and wasn't forced out that could have been a penalty.
