Color me unimpressed by this WC for the U.S. A draw against an underachieving England, a draw against a country with a population the size of Houston (Slovenia) and a last gasp win against Algeria, followed by another flameout against Ghana. With the resources at our disposal we can't develop a squad that can do better than that?

The worst part of this is that Gulati will declare this WC a success and give Bob Bradley an extension and a raise.

findley and clark had no impact on this world cup. and they should not have been in the lineup. the team only played that much better when those guys were off the field. findley had a walk in goal and failed. clark was key on 2 goals against.

it was a waste of the first half and a sub in a game where we needed an ace in the hole. for all the great things bradley did leading up to this game....he has to live with that one. again how many of us common folk on here were begging for bradley to put the axe on clark before the WC even started?

Disagree about Clark. He had a BIG impact. He was responsible for giving up the opening goals against England and Ghana. He freaking sucks.

Agree about Findley. Anyone on this board could have donned his uniform and contributed as much to the team as he did.

ok either way you want to use the verbage...i agree with you. several of us wanted clark out of the 23 man roster before the games started.

It just sucks that it's over this quickly. it would have been one thing if we lost to brazil, germany, argentina, etc. but ghana has sent us packing 2 WC's in a row. ghana is not a top 10 team in the world. to me that says enough about how far we need to go moving forward. ghana is a solid team and they are better than everyone wanted to admit....almost reminds me of 2002 when mexico was grinning because they drew us in the first round. you can't think that way.

the goals finally came for them thanks to shaky play at the back end...(the undoing for the USA this WC). the offense was certainly there this time.

Project 2010 a complete failure

One of these years the US will find someone with the ability to finish - frustrating watching the same errors and weakness game after game, year after year

bradley is a crap coach and should resign

jozy has a lot of growing up to do - he looked lost out there for the better part of the game, not close to being on the same page about how to position himself to be in on the play, uncertain of what to do when he was able to receive the ball and all too often completely unable to make a good first touch

I don't want to bag on the kid too hard because he is so young, does some good things and is unfortunately the best we have right now .... but he's got a long way to go if he wants to be as good as he thinks he is
