He created his own adversity with the pick. I realize the OLine is garbage, but that throw was inexcusable. That said, props for pulling it off. This team has a lot of room to get better, and I only hope they keep doing that.

Unless we are in shotgun then we are seeing a lot of guys in the box just daring us to pass from under center. If we can burn the D more regularly with passes from under center then it will help our running game a lot.

I'm sure that was part of it, but we were also playing without Beanie or hyphen, playing behind all day, and generally having our O line manhandled. All of that made it harder to run, and more challening for the QB.

Kolb must be judged by the whole game and the whole game says winner. He threw that pick but at the same time he made clutch passes and scrambles out of sacks and delivered. Yes, we must seriously start thinking he might be our franchise QB after all...give him a decent line and I think we know the answer of what the kid is capable of.

True. The problem is the Tackles are so bad in pass pro we can't throw the ball downfield. and the Snyder and Sendlein today were getting destroyed inside on run plays it appeared.

There was very little room to run and it often looked like they did that with only 7 in the box.

I thought Floyd had good moments other than the big drop in the first half and Housler had a couple of huge catches. It's a dilemma for Whiz if he tries to use those weapons, the Tackles have to hold up

Yes, the positives are great, but your completely ignoring the massive negatives. That should be worrisome when deciding whether or not Kolb is our guy long term. Mental mistakes are WAY harder to fix than mechanical.

Won't you guys ever learn? You almost cost us the game with all those posts talking about how great Batiste and Massie were doing.

Up 14-13 2nd down on opponents 1 yard line with 7 minutes left in the game and we have to come from behind to win? Our offense sucks eggs. Kolb was better than Skelton because he didn't throw interceptions and he's throwing picks so he's no longer better. If the D doesn't get the ball back twice at the end of the game we're 3-1.

My issue with this thread is how fickle you (some fans) are. "Never Again" because of 1 game?

I could go back to the game thread right now and pick out 100 comments of "F KOLB!" "SCrew YOU!" "SKELTON!" etc.

and because we barely won, you think Kolb deserves infinite mulligans because of what he did today. If he goes out and throws 1 TD, 14 picks in his next 3 games, we arent allowed to slam him, by your logic.
