Oliwa joins Coyotes

Oliwa was picked up off recall waivers from New Jersey. I really dont care for this move, he does have slightly more skill than your average enforcer, but seems like a waste of a roster spot. I cant imagine him being much more than a healthy scratch most nights, and Phoenix has enough trouble staying out of the penalty box without adding another penalty magnet such as Oliwa.

I don't mind the move. I could see Recci, Nash and Oliwa being a good punshing fourth line (once Nash is back of course).

Am I the only one that thought Sjostrom was a little out of place on that line? He seems to me to have some good offensive potential. Maybe a third liner, or at some point moving higher.

Apparently the Oliwa thing ended up being false, no other news source is reporting it, nor was it mentioned during tonights broadcast.

TSN isn't reporting it as a story, but his player page lists him as a Coyote.
