To go 8-8 with this depleted roster is an amazing achievement. Thus team got the most out of its talent and that’s all you can ask.

Best coaching job by Arians, or any cards coach, ever.

Look st the starting OL today:
Holden, Boone, Shipley, watford, and wetzel.

They go into Seattle and pretty much control the game with drew stanton under center.

MAJOR PROPS to the team and staff(except Amos)

I don't know what you're on but I want a pound of it.
How can you not be proud or like this team?

I go by what I see. This team was 8-8 in the NFC’ west where the worst team had 6 wins. And they played most the year with backups at key positions.

Now, last year was the most disappointing team I have seen. They had the talent to win it all but bad special teams and stupid mistakes made it about the most under-achieving team ever.

This game had blowout potential-- especially since Carroll would have run it up if given the chance

Road game, last game, nothing at stake, back up QB, back up everything else on offense. Rumors that the HC is calling it quits. -- playing a team that needs to win.

Instead the team plays hard. Heck: Seattle 1st and 10 on its 30 at the end. easy to call it a game, let them gain 7 or 9 yards to kick a FG to win. instead fought for every yard.

I dont know if this was my favorite Cards team, but appreciated the effort down the stretch.

I agree the 8-8 was amazing. Who really thinks this is a 10-6 or 12-4 with this roster?

Nothing beats the cards team run for Superbowl. That was my favorite cards team.

This team going 8-8 is a great team effort.

No one is talking Holden or Wetzel but they were actually very solid in these last two games. Bennett had no sacks today and he lined up against both of them. Kudos to those young men.

Well based on this. We could have easily won 10 games with a healthy roster. Heck if Dawson kicks in the first half of the season as well as he did in 2nd half we might have won 10 anyway.

Because most of the season they appeared to be sleepwalking. Where was this urgency to win when they played the Rams or at the beginning of the season? They flat out laid down to the Rams in London, struggled to beat a very bad 49er team, twice, lost to a horrendous Texan team, struggled against a bad Colts team, nearly blew a 31 point lead to a mediocre Buccaneers team. This was the most uninspiring 8-8 finish I ever saw. Even with the injuries this team should have won 10 games.

The first four weeks of this season was emotionally crushing.

I will say post-England, this team was fun to watch. I have no idea how they went 8-8, but they did.

Chandler Jones was a monster this year, just an absolute monster. I hope he gets some consideration for DPY. He should not win it, but still, he had a hell of a year. Favorite thing to watch were his lion tackles in the in run game for losses.

I'm glad we 8-8 but hardly one of my favorite cards teams. I enjoyed a couple 4-12 teams from SDS as they played with a passion you don't see much anymore.

I will give this coaching staff credit for not letting this team quit, but it drives me crazy when we can only put a winning streak together when the season is over and games are meaningless. Where was this effort in the 1st Seahawks game or games against Cowboys, Rams, Eagles, Texans, etc.
As a franchise, we have had too many 8-8 seasons when we have rallied our troops when it really didn’t matter. My favorite Cardinal teams are the ones that made the playoffs.

We've had four 8-8 seasons since coming to AZ. Finished 3-1 2x, this year and 94 Ryan's first year, and 2-2 2x, 2007 Whiz's first year and 2011. Throw in last year's 7-8-1 and we were 2-2 to finish as well. So one year with a strong finish was the first year of a new coach/system and one was this year.

Never went 8-8 in STL, but did finish 8-7-1 in 83, 3-1 down the stretch that year.

You’re missing my point. I wasn’t being specific about 8-8. Whether we’re 7-9, 9-7, 8-7-1, 7-8-1, 6-10, even 5-11. Those records are not bad enough to get us high enough in the draft to overcome how pathetic we have been in the area of the draft. Even in some 5-11 & 6-10 seasons, we would finish out with wins, sometimes consecutive wins. Until we start showing some ability to draft, we almost have to be in the top 3 to grab a stud.

the idea that this 8-8 team was a better coaching job than the 11-5 2014 team that has just as many injuries, a much tougher schedule and didn't need two meaningless wins at the end of the season to square it's record seems like a seriously bad case of amnesia.
