After watching that replay again a couple mroe times, I stand corrected. It did appear as though Connor made the tag although I think he was a little too casual about it. I guess the ump didn't have a good angle on it?

That ump sucks. He blatantly blew that call. As you said, Connor could have tagged him more aggressively but he made the tag. Still doesn't excuse his horrendous throw in the same inning
