The Oakland comment was me.

That was a sadly hilarious day. I remember Ouchie and I at the bar watching a terrible raiders team kick our ass. A pretty girl walked past us, looked at the score, then us in our Cards jerseys and just said "Hard core, guys. Hard core."

That was my favorite moment of the season... which speaks volumes.

I lost it. Great story, I agree favorite moment for sure

He still got up and stormed off. You forget that he and his teammates were taking selfies and group photos while the NFC title game was going on but he's not man enough to take criticism when he loses? Weak argument dude.

You do have a bit of east coast edge to you but at times, you are my favorite poster on this board.

Still rough, just sayin

This is true, perhaps he should have acted with more class to appease the fans.

But I like a guy who hates losing.

(Edit: All you haters imagine if he was on our team, giving that snarl of disdain and ridicule and making plays. Ya'll are hypocrites. I'd love Cam on our team, and I suspect if we have a player like that you'll feel the same way. We need someone with attitude on offense, all we have is Fitz and he's quiet. We need a vocal presence)

Just curious about the overall mood of your fan base. Are they holding out hope for a rebound, resigned to the fact that this is a lost year, hating on Rivera or hating on certain players, management or ownership? Deeper problems than missing a key player or 2?

btw , as Cardinals fans we have all of the aforementioned reactions .
The mood. Lol. Look at the thread titles on here, and you'd see it's real dismal.

Blaming Rivera, Shula (then again Shula is always blamed for everything, even last year), and Gettleman. They've already hung the towel, even though the Panthers have been through a lot worse times than this. I think its possible we clutch out a playoff berth, but homefield advantage is gone for sure. If we lose Sunday there's no hope left at all.

I hope for an injury free game, good luck for the rest of the year. It has been a pleasure having you here this week, stop by again when you get bored. It really is a must game for both teams, lets hope it is entertaining.

PS I have no issues with Cam. He could handle himself better with the press, but that is part of what makes him who he is. He could play for my team any day of the week.

We're 3 - 3 & 1.... Which means we have played 7 games have not won 4 times. Why would anyone feel "confident" about this or any other game???
This game has all the markings of a big fat ugly L. In fact, (I feel I've been saying this the past 2-3 games) this game is likely the season for this team as a loss would not only take us to 4 losses and a tie, but mentally it would likely derail the entire team...
This game is actually a bigger test than the SeaHag game. Can they somehow gather themselves after such a brutally tough, extended game that resulted in a non-win, to go on the road to play in a place where our season has ended two years in a row? I have no doubt that the Panthers front 7 will come to play and will be in our backfield early and often. Palmer will likely be getting pressured and knocked around quite a bit in this game (Veldheer's broken finger won't be helpful...). John Brown won't be 100% IF he even plays. Peterson's back injury is not being talked about much. And really, I know he's still young but can DJ really carry the load at the level he is being asked each week?? If not physically I would guess that mentally he will soon begin to tire and wear down...
So yep - this is by far the biggest test of the season for the Cards. And I am not at all confident that they have "it" this season to pass this test... [emoji45]
I'm just a fan but I remember being 4-3 and NFL TODAY doing a segment with Plummer about our new-found success. From there, it just fell apart.

Today we are 3-3-1 and the fanbase is questioning everything, yet we sit here with 5x the talent and coaching.

C'mon guys, this is not the SOC and this isn't last year's Panther's. If we can hang in the first half we'll win by 2 scores... at least. If not, I'll be here after the game with a new thread called: REDNECK VOODOO SUCKS BECAUSE...

From there, you can all go on with your own reasons. My wife will not be allowed to post. :D
Voodoo - I'm not at all suggesting this is the same 'ol Cards. I love this team and yes, they are loaded with talent in ways no prior Cards teams ever were!
But, as I've mentioned in prior threads, after all the W's thus team has put up in the BA era, including 13 last season, there was bound to be a dropoff... the NFL gods always ensure teams fall back to the mean - unless you're Belicheck and Brady of course...
This season just doesn't have that "it" feel to it at all. And I do believe that there is something up with BA.
Anyway, nothing would please me more than to see this team rally and pull off a huge win this Sunday, and then use the victory to springboard toward an epic 2nd half run. But I have to be real and not live in fantasy land... Therefore, if we lose in Carolina - again - I can't see this team getting much past 8 wins... 9 would be quite an accomplishment... meaning we would have to go 6 & 2 the rest of the way. Doable for sure... but likely? No...

Yep... [emoji35].

Our stats are almost identical. They had more rushing yards & we had more passing but the overalls are close.

With all due respect... So what? Carolina owned us, again. Our defense is officially Cam Newton's BITCH and Arians was severely out-coached and inept in Carolina, again. You do realize we had a bunch of passing yards because 1.). Carolina allowed a bunch of those yards, 2.). We had to throw because once again, Carolina owned the line of scrimmage.
If Carolina receivers hadn't turned themselves into Mike Floyd (Did he even play today?), Newton's numbers would've looked much better and this score would've looked a lot worse.

So what? I could care less. Just posting some stats. I'll be sure to remember not to post stats again.
