The odds of Tua getting hurt again are much greater than any of the other QBs guy has never been healthy. I assume his family wants him to go to the NFL especially since Tuas younger brother will prob the starting QB job at bama next year.

Oh I am not saying it's not a risk going back to school but his stock is dropping right now and won't go back up.

Herbert is a prototypical pocket passer. Those are getting hard to find, yet several offenses are still built around them. He’ll go 1 or 2. You’re right about Johnson but this is a great year for WRs.

Gimpy, don’t think Chicago is sure they have their QB. The front office especially is very unsure about him.

As for a Tua, I wrote on another thread my dream would be for the Cards to get a top 7 pick and give it up to someone wanting Tua. Just ignore all those people dropping him into the second 10. It won’t happen.
Looks to me like Burrow is gonna be first QB taken. He's Got that ice in his veins.
I'd expect Herbert to be above average but he's been pretty spoiled at the college level with that OL.

Bad year for needing aQB in the draft.
And yet when we were drafting kyler there was a loud contingent yelling “we’re doing it too early! He’s short! Next years guys are so much better!” Just goes to show that you don’t know and when you think you see a guy you grab him.

Yeah he'll go first round but probably bottom half, definitely nowhere near #1. I could see NE taking him, maybe NO.

if you are Tampa, or LA Chargers, or Carolina, or Tennessee, or Pittsburgh -- drafting in the teens and needing a QB - and Tua looks to be making a normal recovery and is on the board: dont you have to take him?

Depends on who else is available. There could be a lot of good players sitting there in the teens so its a gamble for sure. A team with 2 first rounders may be most logical landing spotsor teams picking in late 20's. I could see a Brady Quinn / Aaron Rodgers type slide for Tua.

HAHA so true!

I've seen enough of Herbert. Something is just missing in his game. To me it seems to be personality. Talented kid who doesnt get the most out of his talent. Seems to fall apart in big games.

I’d be surprised if this guy goes top 10. Haven’t seen any consistency in his game.

If he has no complications during his recovery he’ll be gone long before New England picks.

this is where i am at

a 1st round pick in the teens for a team needing a young qb: totally worth the risk to get the consensus #1 guy prior to injury

If he’s fine medically there is no way he makes it past teams like Oakland, LAC, Tennessee and Miami who could draft Chase Young and use their draft capital to navigate the draft anyway they want. Of course this all depends on his recovery
