Supposedly from the police report;

Here's part of the text conversation between Adrian Peterson and the boy's mother (from the police report)....

AP: "Toughest of the bunch"

AP: "he got five more pops than normal. He didn't drop one tear! so that was another indicator I'll have to try a system on him. smh he's tough as nails."

Baby Mama: "Well you can't hit him til he cries! That's just mean. He's trying to be strong for you. He's afraid of you. He's 4, he's not playing mind games with you."

Thank God we have Ellington. Otherwise, we'd have to read 8,000 posts saying, "Maybe we should sign Rice or trade for Peterson", which I am sure is happening with about 20 fan bases around the country right now.

Also, at least Levi Brown was never a child abuser. Rod Graves is finally vindicated! :p

Meanwhile, Michael Sam continues to be a distraction, huh?

seriously.

I'd love to see Dungy interviewed again and be asked would he rather have the Michael sam distraction, or the Ray Rice/Peterson type. I'm guessing he'd go with Ray Rice/Peterson... after all, he was Mike Vick's biggest supporter to get back in the league back in the day.

Quoting Scripture or evoking God by people who beat their girlfriends/wives or children is as empty as that person's "devotion" to their God. The Almighty is probably saying "Don't bring Me into this!".

Disgusting and disturbing.

Second child abuse incident is now coming forward. It was dismissed because "expert witness" claimed child was bruised (on his head) from the car seat. Actually Peterson hit him so hard the head slammed into the car seat frame.

Per KHOU's report:

The text messages also describe an exchange about what happened. They contain numerous misspellings and shorthand:

Mother: "What happened to his head?"

Peterson: "Hit his head on the Carseat."

Mother: "How does that happen, he got a whoopin in the car."

Peterson: "Yep."

Mother: "Why?"

Peterson: "I felt so bad. But he did it his self."

How does that indict Peterson? He says he did it to himself. Personally, I could care less how AP disciplines his kids but there is no investigation into these allegations and, to me, it sounds more like KHOU, or whatever station it is, is trying to drum something up.

What?

Does that mean Peterson thought the kid brought it on himself?

Hitting a 4 year old with a switch, drawing blood and worse?

Jail time.

You are wrong. Investigators got the texts of the first incident to strengthen case of second incident. Not just drumming up too.

But there is no investigation or conclusively a first incident. It's here say. From that text exchange, I don't see how you can get anything different. Especially jumping to the conclusion that AP hit him so hard that his head slammed into the car seat frame.

Maybe there's more to it, but nothing can drawn from that exchange.

Somehow I feel if Peterson had beat a woman with a switch there would have been more uproar.

There would be more uproar of the state took his kids away, made them wards of the state for a couple years, removed his parental rights, and had them adopted by a gay couple.

No. The only way there would have been uproar is if he took the switch and smoked it.

I can't believe he and Hardy are back on the scene already. Especially Peterson, after brutalizing a defenseless toddler. If you want to pop your children on the behind to discipline them, whatever. Won't be a problem. Literally whipping them until you repeatedly draw blood is not parenting, especially on a baby.

How can someone who already had another child murdered by abuse be so awful to their own defenseless son?
A parent is supposed to be the one person in the world a child can count on to defend them against things like that. If your parents won't protect you, who will?
