Been a while since this happened, at least in my lifetime. Today we have:

Chicago @ Detroit
Philadelphia @ Dallas
Seattle @ SF

Usually Dallas or Detroit play an AFC team but this year the Bears/Lions is the CBS game. When was the last time this happened?

Not sure, but a few weeks ago CBS had another NFC game with Carolina... The announcers even joked about it.

This is weird for another reason. We're in week 13 of the season and this is the first time both Philly/Dallas and Seattle/SF are meeting this season.

I like it....greatly increases the chance that the Cards game will be the second NFC game on local TV this sunday.....fingers crossed.

NJ......... You know the PTB always want to be sure the favored teams are clicking on all cylinders before they put them in tough division games

I think last week SF/Washington was on CBS.. they changed the rules if one conference doesn't have enough games in the afternoon.

At this point in the season, who we want to win this game? Seattle or SF? Guessing SF would be better for us

I'm amazed at how bad SF been at home. They're 3-3 in their new digs but they've lost to the Rams and Bears at home. Hope we can add to the misery the last game of the season.

Uncross them because both you and I are getting screwed this weekend. The Early game we're both getting is Pitt @ NO on Fox and SD @ Balt on CBS then the entire nfl watching world is getting NE @ GB on CBS and Fox is getting our game but only in select areas and we ain't one of them.

The Cardinals get somewhat of a break by having an East coast game in the late slot. I'm assuming the move was done because Fox needed a game in the late slot and the Cardinals are the only west coast team playing on Fox on Sunday. The reason they have to have a late game is because they can't show an early game in the markets where the AFC team is at home and with no late game Fox wouldn't be able to show any football in those markets on Sunday and that's something that they would never do.
Everyone outside of Phoenix and Atlanta will probably be watching the Pats and the Packers anyway though.
