I'm certainly curious to see how he looks in NFL games because I haven't seen him struggle with that this preseason. Maybe it rises to the forefront when the real games start but his supposed accuracy issues seem exaggerated after watching him play this preseason.

Ummm are you sure you’re watching the right guy? He had 54% comp % in the freaking pre season against vanilla defenses. Panicked a lot and over threw a plenty. He didn’t look great in pre season and will likely look much worse in reg season...

The one thing Rosen does better than Allen is...PLAY QUARTERBACK

Other than that yeah Allen Gots him. If your not accurate in college it's only going to get worse not better.

Looks like he can throw a football through a brick wall but he has no touch at all

Completion % doesn't equal pass accuracy. I have no horse in the race with Allen. Don't care about Buffalo, Wyoming, Allen or anything related to those places. I just tuned into some Bills preseason games out of curiosity, expecting to see this wild, in over his head, over-drafted QB.

I really don't see a guy struggling with accuracy and constantly overthrowing receivers. I see a guy who continually shows escapability, stepping up in the pocket well, good deep ball accuracy, really good throws outside the hash, nice accuracy to receivers out of the backfield and in the short game and some third down conversions. He isn't polished but I also don't think he's struggling while he's on the field. His o-line is terrible so far but unless those are his line calls that he's missing, I don't put those struggles on him. I see a QB who's been relatively accurate when given time, had some nice long ball throws and escaped a lot of bad plays. Even the couple of times he's tried to do too much and made a bad decision, the plays didn't actually turn out negatively.

Good pass - 30
Bad pass - 7
Throwaway - 3
Drop - 4
Escaped - 13
Held it long - 3
Sack - 6

I don't have any context since I don't usually chart plays like this but overall, seems fine to me.

I do not care for Allen because even though he has had accuracy issues (his passes can float on him), his main fault appears to be processing a play while it happens. He is too slow in doing this and lacks the instincts and mental quickness to throw a guy open or deliver the pass ahead of time to a designated point. The pro secondaries are fast and to beat them you usually have to stay a step ahead of them and then compile that with his OL which will give him less time for something he struggles with and this is a mental storm to match a Buffalo snow storm... he's no big arm Jamarcus Russell because he cares and is putting the effort in but he appears to lack quick twitch muscle memory to succeed as a pro
