Sounds stupid.. I've never understood why people watch other people living their lives on reality tv.. You could be out doing something in your own life..

Part I don't get is how can a scripted show / dialogue be considered reality?

What seems to be getting lost is.... OWN YOUR SH**! If I'm hanging out with drug dealers and I'm completely innocent and get arrested, guess who's fault it is? Mine. Ocho-moron chose to be with this girl. If he headbutted her, he's a scumbag that should go to prison. If he didn't? He chose to be with a girl that would falsely accuse him of something, which is stupid. I wish people would stop making excuses for innocent people when they make stupid decisions about who they CHOSE to hang out with. Either way, he's an idiot.

I didn't read this entire thread, so if someone already posted this, excuse me.

"Chad should have signed with the Cards. According to their fans, they never hit anyone."

Now being reported he not only pleaded no contest to domestic abuse in 2000, he failed to complete the court ordered duties as a result of it and was given more court ordered duties. The conviction was 2000, he finally finished doing what the court ordered him to do in 2002 when he was about to start wtih the Bengals.

Obviously a much younger guy but it shows he has a history.

Guy is accused of beating wife.

Posters says "IF TRUE" screw him.

You respond with F you?

You are the ******* here buddy.

And again, wishing that this incident "ends his career" is a little extreme, but it is to be expected.

If its true it should end his career. Should guys who beat up women be employed in such a high status and high paying job as in the NFL? No way.

Of course not but the reality of the situation is that they are employed in millions of jobs around the world along with the best and worst of society. I don't know him or his wife, but I don't wish this situation on anyone.

Headbutting your wife in the face is a very very bad thing to most people, you obviously dont see it as a big deal.

No actually I do, but the point here being again that I don't know exactly what happened so I am not going to judge one way or the other nor am I going to hope it ends his career.

I still think its pretty safe to say Chad isn't the victim like he's always been before right? :sarcasm:

I'm with you. Due process in the court of public opinion is a myth. Everyone's ready to lock him up and throw away the key, yet if you've ever seem Evelyn Lozada on TV, you know the deal here.

Seems like the people with the strongest opinions on these subjects are always the ones with the least information.

We've been discussing it in here and saying he deserves to be bashed IF he did this. We've also discussed that this is not his first arrest for this offense.

Guess his release was all caught on tape for 'Hard Knocks' episode 2.

NFL.com is also reporting that there was a 'reality' show that was in the works about him and his wife.

Of course innocent until proven guilty, but man does it look like the hammer just came down. A quote from NFL.com says it best.

Episode 2 of the HBO documentary series concluded with Johnson's final meeting with Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin. Johnson probably hoped the guillotine would fall in private, but his darting eyes found the cameras installed in Philbin's office.

The lowest moment of his career would be captured on tape forever.

Irrelevant...

Chad's rights in this matter ended where her forehead began.

Allegedly right? They have a legal system in Canada too, no?

How do we know she didn't head butt him which he claimed upon arrest?

Allegedly, granted. But, I note, he hasn't repeated that assertion.

As peaceful people who respect their neighbours, we don't need a legal system up here..

Does it really matter AF? The Fins didn't & don't need the legal system to fire the dude. Chad's reputation & past ignorance is why he's gone despite your innocence before proven guilty theory...the blame is squarely on his shoulders. Ocho Stinko is scum anyway you paint the strokes IMO. I find it really hard to believe anyone who defends him, TO, Lawrence Phillips, or Pacman to any extent. They always play the victim because "they are labeled" instead of accepting responsibility for the actions or words they do over & over & over. All of them have a track record, so I'm not buying the theory of innocence.

I'm thinking his wife filing for divorce speaks volumes of what actually happened.
