I am of the opinion that Georgia Frontiere never should have moved the Rams in the first place, so I find less fault with Kroenke than others.

I agree but one does have to feel a bit bad for St. Louis fans. First they get fed up with Bidwill and let him take the Cards to AZ. and now they lose the Rams back to LA. Well maybe I don't feel so bad for St. Louis fans even though I think they are typically the classiest fans of all, especially BB fans.

While I get why Spanos is fed up with San Diego his moving to LA makes zero sense to me. SD did come up with some $$$$ to help in a last ditch effort and it closed the gap enough that I get the feeling Spanos is now moving the team to be spiteful.

How can billionaires be so stupid???

And, the City of San Diego will survive and go on without the Chargers just fine.

Thats not the point. Phoenix would be fine without the Cardinals but it doesnt mean it wouldnt be emotionally devastating.

That schlep owner is thinking about $$$'s and doesnt care how much pain hes inflicting.

If you can stoop down to my intellectual level you can see that's how he became a billionaire in the first place. Most get very rich by not caring about people or anything else but money.

I guess playing in a soccer stadium that only holds 27K will be easier to make the appearance of having a lot of people in the stands lol

They probably wouldn't come close to drawing 30k as a lame duck team in SD for the next 2 years...except when the Raidas come to town.

My reason for not liking Kroenke is the way he left St. Louis. He took control of the team after Frontier died and said he would never leave St. Louis. Said that on many occasions. Meanwhile he was buying land in LA for the new stadium and telling Jeff Fisher the team was moving to LA in 2016. This was in 2012-13. Meanwhile he kept telling the city leaders he was staying but wanted almost $750 million in improvements to the Dome. St. Louis City and Missouri state spent almost $16 million designing a brand new $1.3 billion for the Rams. The stadium was going to be financed with public and private money with some very favorable terms to the Rams.

What really irks me the during the relocation application to the NFL the Rams trashed the city and fans of Missouri even after the city and state arranged public financing for the stadium. It has come out after they left the Rams and the NFL were hell bent on moving the team to LA no matter St. Louis did to keep them. This is from comments they have said this past year.

When the Cards left here it was totally different the city would not build the team a stadium so I do not blame the team for leaving. The Rams leaving was all the owners fault.

This is hilarious. LA cannot even support one professional football team and now they have two... the NFL is basing their future on virtual fans I guess lol

Thanks for the info. Time for St Louis to lure the Jaguars to town.

Both the Chargers and Cardinals are more popular in LA, according to this. :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Yeah, I know it was before the move, but after last season I can't imagine they've climbed the rankings that much.

Dean Spanos continues to prove what an absolute piece of crap he is.

A shame that his father gave the franchise over to Dean because Alex would never SD like this.

Literally, no one cares here in LA. And the fact that they're playing at the LA Galaxy's soccer field is an even bigger joke.
