I'm confused the article suggests this alleged affair happened when he was Louisville, not Texas.

They can fire him for not coaching well now, they can fire him for off field incidents now, but why would they fire him for an affair that happened a few years before he got to Texas? Unless they asked him up front if he had anything to hide and he said no?

Charlie is a very good coach. Its the reason he got the Texas job. But the fact he failed in Texas isnt a testament to his coaching skills. Texas is a poison pit. Very few are successful there long-term.

Charlie Strong was set up for failure before his 1st day because billionaire Texas boosters like T Boone Pickens was threatening to boycott the program because he was mad they hired a black guy as head coach.

They love them boys as players, not so much as authority figures.
