I lived in Tahoe when that happened, and that woman has said she made it up.

Just to be clear are you saying SHE said he made it up or other people did? The woman in that case ended up in a mental institution briefly because of the whole thing. It was settled out of court in 2012. She apparently settled both with Ben and with the casino. People she worked with claimed she had bragged she slept with Ben but then none of them were willing to state that in an affidavit. She filed charges against him and 8 fellow employees she said covered it up. her lawyer said the Casino leaked the story about her bragging because they wanted to protect themselves.

2 years later he got accused again by a college student. 3 of her friends signed sworn affidavits that she had told them all the same story. But the victim told the police she didn't want to press charges because she didn't want to get dragged through the mud she was already getting harassed at school and she didn't want to deal with all the negative press so the DA dropped the charges. Her lawyer in the letter to police explicitly stated they were not saying nothing happened she simply refused to go through with it. the NFL suspended Ben because they found enough evidence to consider him having violated NFL rules.

I have no idea about Watson it's way too early to have any opinion but in Ben's case unless the woman later recanted and I can't find it, the evidence was pretty clear in his case. he actually got lucky if she hadn't named the casino and employees as well, they might have been more willing to cooperate.

The percentage of false allegations is like 5%.

I used to help counsel people going through divorce. It was staggering how many women claimed they were sexually assaulted by their husbands just to punish them and also fabricate domestic abuse against her and the their children just to "win" in divorce even though there isn't "winning".

Like someone else said, when 9 women speak out something's amiss, but your broad stroke of just believing someone because they are a woman is ridiculous.

Looks like they all have similar stories though the level of how far Watson went differs. Common threads between them: Watson wants a massage, asks for them to focus on his glutes/inner thighs, he gets a ***** and then takes off his towel and rubs himself on the masseuse.

Massage is a very popular category of porn. It's extremely common for masseuses to be assaulted. I will be very surprised if Watson isn't guilty.

Some of these texts make it look like he was trying for extras in the initial texts. I’m fairly certain the discussion he had with the one asking if the restroom is available is either code used at rub and tugs or his attempt at trying to use the proper lingo. that’s the only question I have.... if that’s your thing in your fetish there are plenty of women and businesses out there that do this freely it’s straight up offered.... So there really is no need to solicit or try to get it from legit massage therapist...... A part of me hopes this is those shady type of businesses and they just trying to get over using that position and realizing who he is and trying to profit from it…

But if it’s a bunch of legit massage therapist running legit business then there’s obviously an issue.....

I was under the impression that it was illegal for massage places to offer happy endings. I know they exist but are there really plenty of businesses who get away with offering massages with sex?

You think because something is illegal it doesn’t happen? Serious question.

I’d be willing to bet just in the Houston metro area there are 100s of them.... ALMOST every Asian massage parlor you can bet is offering this. There are some legit but very few. Hell there are some that aren’t Asian that offer “extra services” I live in Vegas and it’s a rampant problem in this city amd all across the country. Have friends in vice unit who all they do is try and bust them. They pick a new business everyday. They do training with cops from other stats I similar units. Information sharing etc..... and these are just the places that are actual business front it’s not counting all the private “massage therapists” that you can call to your residence or your hotel room to offer the same services.....

Just to be clear I haven't read all the charges but I think most of them involve people either going to his hotel room or his house so he's not in massage parlors he's bringing people in.

That's what makes it so odd to me.

Also note, he really should not have hired a lawyer named Rusty Hardon

So after he knew this lawyer had a client saying he was doing this, he apparently did it to a different woman anyways.

there’s still a very large percentage of in call “massage therapists” that aren’t legit..... If any of these girls have other customers that can prove that they aren’t necessarily legit it’s going to blow a huge hole in their case… If they are legit then he’s fudged pure and simple…
