Bobcats only scored 33 points in the first half. :( If Diaw thought it wasn't fun playing for the Suns he's going to have a rude awakening in Charlotte.

One thing I truly never understood with every one of our key players "not enjoying themselves" here (JJ, Marion, Raja, Diaw) was that they never seemed to compare it to anything else!

JJ - "star" on a horrible team with teammates' games that are quickly becoming more popular than his.

Marion - felt invisible, underappreciated, and underpaid so sent to the worst team in the league and trade rumors spread within days of him landing, no mention of even the possibility of an extension, and has become completely invisible from a league perspective.

Raja and Diaw - have glaring holes in their game and werent happy with the coaching so went to the tyrant that is Larry Brown to a team that couldnt even nab 35 points in the first half.

They were down 29 but have cut the lead to 9, largely with Diaw and Bell on the bench.

p.s. Augustin is a baller, wish we could have drafted him.

Just in case u dont know, Marion is still doing fine in Miami. So far this season, he got 37.3 mpg, 12.5ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.8apg, 1.5spg and 1.5bpg, I would say not bad, but that is a mile or two from what he was doing here, and for God's sake, the Heat is paying him 17 million dollars a year!

Barnes is doing exactly same 12.5ppg in just 30mpg, 6ppg and 2.7apg r also pretty good. And for God's sake, he makes just 1.2 million a year while only 700k some paid by the Suns!

Charlotte cut it to 3 playing all youngsters. Lineup down the stretch: Augustin, Ajincia, Felton, Morrison, & Hollins.

Rumors are swirling that a Sheed/Stuckey for Amare trade may be in the works.

Im torn on that idea

We all know what Sheed can bring to the table, but Stuckey is so underrated in this league that he would make us an incredibly deep team.

But at the same token, I want to see what this team can do right now that we just acquired J-Rich. Lets take our new ride for a spin before we decide we want to modify it, shall we?

I don't know, trading is a lot of fun at least until the home team does a stinker. :)

You're right there is a point of diminishing returns unless Amare has made it clear that he wants out.

i watched stuckey play when the suns defeated them at home in phx.

he is the real deal. i saw why they could afford to lose billips. im not saying stuckey is a direct replacement for billips. but he's got the right tools to stay in a starting spot.

so i dont see the pistons giving him up.
who else is going to run the show in detroit? AI? please...

Every season a lot of crazy trades go down. Who would have believed the Suns could have traded for Richardson using Diaw, Bell and Singletary.

Stuckey lacks the court vision and pass first mentality that this team needs. He likes contact and he likes slashing, thats about it. Amare is pretty much one of the most offensively dominant pieces in this league. Sheed was old 3 years ago.

I'll pass.

I'm content with our team as is, BUT if we were going to make a move, my dream scenario has us luring Pargo away from Russia with the rest of our MLE, then moving Nash/Tucker for Calderon/Kapono/2010 1st, and then Kapono/Barbosa to Portland for Rudy Fernandez(ours to begin with), Channing Frye and Jerryd Bayless (two wildcats that Kerr and Sarver will sign off on).

That gives us

Calderon/Pargo/Dragic
Richardson/Fernandez/Bayless
Hill/Barnes/Dudley
Amare/Frye
Shaq/Lopez/Amudson

ftw

What a complicated plan! No championship team has ever done so much change mid-season. Mega trade IS DONE. Nash and Amare will not be moved.

We will fill our roster with veteran FA signing. Definitely a PG. Maybe another one in Feb or March depends on how is our situation by then.
