So we'll face two former Alabama QBs this year/the guy who took over for Kyler at OU.

Hopefully we'll get some decent film to prepare....Vance cant let him "Tua" us...

he's IMO not the runner Kyler is, he had a very high % in college last 3 years but he's just over 50% so far this year.

Apparently it was a real controversy on the team there's a Carson camp and a Jalen camp so the decision was not taken lightly and it will be interesting to watch. The primary issue with Wentz is he holds the ball too long, the OL thinks he's the sack problem not them.

the biggest problem with Wentz is he sucks. I think by the stats he’s the worst starting QB in football. People are saying it’s in his head

This immrdiately increases their chance of beating us simply because we historically have made rookie QBs look like gold where they’ve otherwise looked like crap.

right I’d rather play Wentz

I think Hurts will perform better than Wentz but I'm still not scared. In the last decade of watching college football the only times I thought Alabama ever had a chance to lose was when Hurts was starting. He's a dangerous athlete with some moxie but I see INTs in his future.

We might still end up playing Wentz after the Saints D is done with Hurts. Thats a rough first start for rookie especially with that Eagles oline. Anyway Eagles are in future, got to win against Giants for that game to matter

That knee injury really seemed to be the culprit from a mental standpoint. Hopefully he can get it together with a different team. Seems like a good dude.

If Hurts plays they beat us by 28.

If Wentz plays they beat us by 14.

After watching some of the game against GB, it appeared the oline was the problem more than Wentz.

Hurts will solidify the Eagles chance of winning. We let Bridgewater juke and jive us with his repaired knee/leg so Hurts will have a good game. Ugh

Ahhhh yes...... Time for Jalen to follow in the hallowed footsteps of Tua Tagovailoa and Vinny Testaverde.
