Rather have Hernandez drunk with a broken leg. Sure, he can play guard and tackle, but sucks at both... whoopie!

So, I am thinking the Cards must be drafting OL in the first after their free agent crop

this smells like a back up swing line player to me.

Which begs to question- are we just hoping that Isiah Adam’s or a new draft pick takes the leap to being a quality starting guard? Not saying he can’t and hope he does- but seems like a real leap of faith with no net below. Given the position we are in regarding the nfc west- would have loved monti to be more aggressive in at least attempting to upgrade this hole.

Yes. Adams is a 3rd round pick. They should be hoping he can start in year 2. Gaines is going into year 3 too. I still think they will do more here though considering they were in on Fries.

Might be they are waiting for Hernandez to pass a physical.
