Derailing? Maybe not, but 0-3 teams just don't make the playoffs. It just doesn't happen in the NFL. Especially when they still have a handful of tough games left. Even if 8-8 wins this division, going 8-5 the rest of the way would be an accomplishment with games left against GB, Philly, Atl, SD, Denver, and 5 NFC west games (division games are always tough for any team).

Personally if we could keep the defense off the field for long stretches like we have failed to do so far this season, our present DC might be ok. I think we need a good OC not a new DC.
