Complete coaching mismatch. 4th and 1 he acted like he was punting and then ran out the offense forcing the 49ers to panic call timeout. After the timeout they ran out the offense again but SF got lucky tv wasn't back so they wouldn't let KC snap it. they got the first down anyways.

Then after a TD, KC onside kicked and got it, Sf totally unprepared. They got lucky KC was called offsides on it.

You can just see the wheels coming off with Singletary his team has to be realizing he's in over his head. If they lose today that team could implode.

A little early in the game to be calling for a 49ers derail.

A bit early, but a sustained feeling and effect (carryover if you will) from previous screwups of MS.

I truly think this team will implode, badly. Hiroshima badly.

Who does MS remind me of in terms of idiocy....we'll let's just say....they don't have a winner in town. (and that guy was already over the hill, while MS is/was considered the future)

We'll be fine. We have someone better than the Titanic captain steering our ship. That and he isn't on constant roid rage-itis.

Anyone with a management degree will tell you, of all the types of leadership. Authoritarian is the WORST and LEAST EFFECTIVE one.

Hopefully niners don't learn that for a few years.

It's too late for Alex Smith to develop into a good QB. He has turned into the dreaded captain checkdown.

Singletary is definately getting fired this season. Their supposedly elite defense cannot stop the screen.

After the Seahawks debacle. After the hope that was the game against NO.

If they lose to KC, wow. The SF boards will be quite crazy. Especially if we win. (and they see raiders highlights in the bay area).

Even the most pessimistic person on that board that was posted here after the hawks game....said that they'd start 0-2.

If it's 0-3, watch out below.

It's a complete mismatch so far coaching wise. It's still a close game because SF has more talent but Haley is coaching circles around Singletary so far.

yeah - coaching isn't close

they cried about how seattle was using trick plays after their game .... not surpising haley is actually using some trickier options ......... anything with a variation is beyond what SF can handle

FOX's sideline reporter said Singletary was "very animated" at the half.

That's the whole problem his entire mentality is line up and beat them man to man and if that doesn't work, yell until your team plays better.

Really hard to do in the NFL everyone has talent and how you use it is so key.

FOr example Haley said SF's defense dictated them playing McCluster more in the first half, the kid was the whole offense. SF wouldn't do that they don't adjust they just line up and try to beat you. The announcers keep pointing out teams have been picking on the Chiefs rookie safeties, but SF isn't attacking them at all, Singletary wants to run.

The Cards should follow the Niners example.

And do what? Are you suggesting we should fire Singletary also? I'm okay with that as long as we leave Whisenhunt alone.

We've had a reprieve from being the laughing stock of the NFL and I have no desire to return to the 90's. Fire Whiz and we might be longing for the days when Buddy, Beige or Mac were back in play. We've just had the best run this franchise has experienced since moving to Arizona and I'm pretty sure the national media would have a field day if we fired the man most people credit for this success.

i was referring to the butt-kissing SF was getting for playing hard on MNF.

KC have found their new Tony Gonzalez. That was absolutely unreal.

While I predicted Haley would be a very successful HC when he left the Cards, it's doesn't hurt to have 2 great coordinators in Weiss & Crennell. The biggest differance that I see in the Chiefs is their attacking defense, something the Cards need!!!

I don't know whether to laugh or not. Do the 49ers coaches even know their down by 17? Still running the ball up the middle.
