Where are all of the people that were complaining that we didn't resign him? I know there were quite a few on here saying how Keim was inept by not retaining his services & Tony Jeffersons. Jefferson hasn't done all that great after he left & this guy had issues.

What are you talking about? This is dope.

The back end of the defense got better as the season went along, but we definitely couldn've used Swearinger in Week 1 when Golden Tate and Kenny Golliday lit us up like a Christmas tree.

Golliday in particular got 69 yards and 2 TDs in that game, was a huge add in fantasy football, and gained 400 yards and 1 TD the rest of the year.

Brice Butler had 1 good game last season and it was against us.

The dude freelanced all of the time & never followed the game plan. To each their own.

Could we have used him in week 1 - Yes.
Would the secondary be better now if Swearinger was still on the team? - I would argue no.

And are you an expert, who knows everything that goes on in the locker room? Fact is that Swearinger got booted from two teams despite his incredible talent and status as a 2nd round pick. I seemed to finally get there mentally while being on his 3rd team here. But maybe Keim et al evaluated that the risk still was too big given the contract needed to keep him.

Cool story, bro. I guess you know all the defensive assignments. I think he was a captain for Washington last year.

He's had issues everywhere he's gone. There were articles stating as much on the freelancing. There were also reports of being a disruption in the locker room here. You can ignore that crap if you want. IRDGAF

Honestly, do you think that Keim has made a single bad decision w/r/t roster construction in the time he's been GM? Is he always a hero or a victim?

DJ is an example of a guy who took advantage of his bargain-basement contract at Arizona and parlayed that into a multi-year payday elsewhere. Tony Jefferson, Cooper, Mitch's boy Traymon Williams, Swearinger, and others.

Kudos to those players, but I wish we would've at least kept Jefferson.

It was a punk move on his part. Pryor is taking undeserved heat for being soft.

Steve Keim better get his act and team to winning ways. He is a 3-13 season and 0-4 start away from being fired for good
