OT: If Cowboys cut TO...

With all of the rumors surrounding TO's stay in Dallas possibly coming to an end, I was wondering where he might end up. Most teams are likely not interested in taking on the headache aka Terrel Owens. I also don't think that TO would go to a team that didn't have some kind of realistic shot at the playoffs.

To that end and considering past connections, Miami was the team that popped in my head. TO seemed to be on his best behavior while Parcells was in charge and Miami could certainly use some help at WR. But the more I thought about that scenario the more it dawned on me that NE might step in and grab TO just to prevent the Dolphins from getting him. With Moss paving the way, I could see TO joining that group for less money so he could finally get his ring. It would be a potentially volitile situation but Moss, TO and Welker all together for Brady(if he makes it back)?

It would be a great Madden team for sure and if any coach could maintain the situation in real life, Belichick just might be able to do it.

Seattle's going to be a real wild card next year. Hasslebeck looks like he's been working really hard to re-invent himself and I always thought Mora was a pretty good coach that was just a victim of the original coach killer(Vick).

They obviously have some work to do and Hasslebeck is a guy who's never had reliable WR help so I could see TO, on paper, improving their situation on offense. I've never been a big Hasslebeck fan but I've always felt kind of bad about how poorly his recievers have supported him over the years.

I think the memory of Randy Moss is still too fresh for that to happen. In general terms I could see it but not in '09.

I doubt we'll see him on the Patriots either. It'd be wild to see. I remember a few years back when Minnesota was playing against Philly and it was touted as a "who's the best WR" battle. I forget who won, but I'm pretty sure the stats were very lopsided.

Maybe if they keep ray ray he will keep him in line or cut TO himself nvm I can't see that happening, who would want TO corrupting that young QB, I have no idea who would hire him, I wouldn't pay him the minimum to play for any team I ran, it'd get me fired. I guess Jones can do it cuz he won't fire himself.(Snyder, Davis) and I think they've learned their lesson on the wrong FA signings, lol probably not.

TO burnt his bridge in Baltimore a few years ago, when the 49ers traded him there and he refused to report, stating the Eagles were the only team he "really wanted to play for". No way in hell does Ozzie Newsome and company even consider TO, even if he offered to play there for the league minimum.
