Cardinals are below average for last 5 years
DBacks are bad and likely will not have a winning season for foreseeable future
Suns are a laughing stock of NBA outside of this season for one full decade. Chris Paul leaving (if) means they are back to laughing stock
Coyotes are... Enough said

AZCentral (Kent Somers and Nick Piecoro) seem to have decent reporters. But traditional news media reach is falling. Also AZcentral does not do any journalistic pieces on local sports franchises. Are they worried teams will reject access if they do?

No need to talk about 98.7 boot lickers. Although, I can single out Bickley for generally willing to say things the front office and coaches may not always like.

There are the rest like Jody Ohler, Brad Cesmat etc...

It appears no one in valley break stories like: how professionally these privately owned multi billion dollar franchises are run? Where does winning stand in their priorities? How often does budgets are set and cut and how will they effect operations, player signings and win %, owner interaction with front coaches and players and their effects?

Are there reporters, hosts who offer 360 degree perspective that is both interesting and valuable?

Did not The Athletic let go of all local writers like Bordow etc?

You still get constant pieces about the teams from an unbiased eye
