We can only hope and pray the as the Cardinals become more routinely successful, that the Bidwills don't turn on the fans, and get into the idea of PSL's to generate another layer of revenue.

The very idea is preposterous. "You must pay us $20,000 first, to have the right to pay us thousands more dollars to buy a ticket from us" Can't even believe it's legal, especially in a publicly funded stadium. Seems like the fans already paid for those seats to exist. The team should have to pay back the public funding by giving back money for each ticket sold, not the other way around.

Imaging paying $10,000 to buy a PSL for the Rams last year, then you got to buy 8 tickets, and the team left town and your license was now worthless?

The Cardinals could never do it to current season ticket holders for several legal reasons, but primarily because of "course of dealing" by which all season ticket holders are currently entitled to purchase new tickets every year. They could do it to new purchasers but not current season ticket holders.

That being said, PSLs would never fly here and the Mike B would never do it. Right now they own the top spot in professional sports in the valley by a pretty wide margin.

I like the way AZ decided to fund the stadium. The added event surcharge of $6.25 or whatever it is now seems to be the best way. Not really informed as to the other details, but it is always good when the folks that use the facilities pay for them.

The Rams would owe hundreds of millions to psl AND then they could go for damages if they won..i.e. cost to get to the games , emotional distress...lol and the lot.

Georgia would have probably stayed if LA had ponied up with some stadium money. She left LA for the same reason the Big Red left St Louis. Being a renter of a baseball stadium.

That's a small piece of it. As a Rams fan who watched it unfold from a seat in the front row....she left because she alienated the fans with her conduct and a series of decisions about the team. Beginning with firing her deceased husband's son as general manager of the team. Then she played prima donna and alienated the players. By the time she was through, the fans were chanting "F-You Georgia!" every time she walked onto the field.

She left because it was one way to say, "F-you!" back to the So Cal fans. It was an UGLY divorce.

I knew there was a lot to the mess. Owner's excuse. They always have one for bad behavior. I think Carroll should have never left the Coliseum. That was the Rams fan base. Those Rams days were awesome. Their owner now is not any better, but best wishes to LA.
