maybe he said he wasnt alone because he was getting railroaded and wanted a witness on his side?.... he wouldnt be the first person to try and fabricate an aliby or a witness
My point is if he didn't do anything the smart thing to do is tell the truth. Maybe he is and Banks is lying, but Banks is already in jail, and was never remotely implicated in the allegation against Winston so it's not like he's lying to protect himself. He certainly COULD be lying but it sure looks like Winston's intentionally misleading by taking events from earlier in the day, when he and Darby and Banks DID in fact all ride together, and trying to claim that was the same later on.
From I read yesterday Uber said that only Winston's account was charged, and when Winston booked the ride on Uber, it listed one passenger not 3. Now certainly it could have been 3, but the only "evidence" that anybody has so far is that Winston himself said he was alone when he booked the ride on the Uber app.
