I hope he's okay. Could be something serious. My old bosses son would have seizures & pass out. He would be all disoriented like that when he awoke. Some kind of issue with his brain suffered as a child. He was an adult when I saw this happen.

Diabetics can pass out as well with low blood sugar. It can also cause confusion.
