Looks awful again tonight. Just out of FG range he badly overthrows Anquan on first down, takes a delay of game penalty, and then makes a bad throw to Bush on a middle screen leading to him falling down after 1 yard on a play where he might have gotten 5 more yards with a good throw possibly into FG range.

He's so inconsistent with that throwing motion.

Lots of empty seats as well. Those fans are either stabbing their own or leaving as the rout mounts

Doesn't hurt my feelings that he's bad. He can stay that way. Now if he could just take Russell Wilson down with him....

he just doesn't do much to help the OL at all. Seattle has a great defense but so many plays they have the perfect defense called. Either they have the 49ers play calls or CK is just not reading the defense and changing plays or protections.

I feel sorry for Hyde. Gore had to play through that with the bad Alex Smith years and then teams constantly playing 8 in the box again against CK. Hyde gets the same stuff, teams just aren't afraid Colin is going to beat them in the air.

Boldin looks bad he should not be playing he can barely run

speaking of high passes

I found this nugget in an article...hilarious:D

..."MORE KAP STRUGGLES: Kaepernick's errant passes sailed into both sidelines, one ball even hitting a 49ers staff member in the head early in the game and requiring him to be checked. The 49ers had more punts — nine — than first downs (eight).

I saw the pass hitting the sideline guy in the head....thought they would replay that on tv....NOPE! He never should have signed that contract. He's going to get cut and lose a ton of cash.

I'm probably in the minority, but I pity the 49ers. As fans we've watched teams as bad (probably worse) than the 49ers, and it becomes such a soul crushing experience.

I hope this happens to Pete Carroll before he leaves Seattle.

Because of past Cardinal teams, we know what it means and can still feel those seasons... when we played the Lions, I felt the same about them as the Niners had reminded you lol

I made the comment awhile ago they went out and spent quite a bit of money signing WR's and drafting one fairly high and my thought was that means they are going to want to USE those WR's. And that was bad news for CK because he's best in a system that passing is not the big emphasis, and especially from the pocket.

They made their decision to try and improve their passing game that way and then since have figured out they have the wrong QB to do that.

49ers looked listless last night

and worse -- i saw at least three plays where a defensive player could have put a completely legal hit on a Seattle player and passed -- letting the first guy who had him wrapped up bring him down. You never saw that from SF even last year.

Yeah there was a play over the middle where Bethea had a chance to come up and stick the guy and he just backed off and actually stepped aside. But then he left the game with an injury not long after so he may have already been hurt when he did that.

You have to like Aaron Lynch, I'm still not sold on Armstead though, he looks like a star and he is very good at touching the QB after someone else has sacked him hoping for a half sack. He had a decent game against us but it was a blowout so it was largely in garbage time. So far he looks like he did in college, like he should be much better than he is.

But I said that about Campbell in college and he has turned out great.

I think a lot of this rests on the OC. The guy is complete garbage, just like their coach. I have a theory that the front office promoted Tomsula knowing he would fail, and moreover that Kaep would fail because they want more picks and get rid of Kaep because he was Harbaugh's guy. Have to have him fail before the fans will accept cutting him.

Personally I'd take kapernick with someone who knew anything about offense imo they are putting him in a position to fail which someone already said. He has a talent that you can't coach you just need to put him in the right offense. But because I hate the 9ers I'm good with how this is playing out
