OT: Mike Tomlin calls Patriots (nasty word)

I had no problem with Steeler fans at the super bowl,. After the game the ones I talked to said they dodged a bullet , and that we played them tougher then any of them expected. Only had an issue with one dumb blonde chick who was only there because some rich guy took her hot ass to the game....

People never really get into the reason WHY there are so many Steelers fans world wide. They merely assume that people picked up on them as a popular team or something which, in some cases, is probably correct. The majority of them are displaced people or the children of displaced Pittsburghers. When the steel industry went down, Pittsburgh suffered, and people left in DROVES. The city's population is down to just over 300,000 residents today, as opposed to over half a million in 1970. Yeah, Pittsburgh's growing again from the tech industry, but most new residents move to the outlying neighborhoods rather than live in town.

Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it

I know quite a few Steeler Fans in Arizona, and not a single one has any roots to Penn/Pittsburgh. Most became fans during times when the Steelers were good - basically lifelong bandwagoners.

At this point, Brown should be suspended and the Steelers should run his contract down. Dude SAYS he's apologizing, then doesn't say whether he got paid for the video, doesn't rule out breaking the rules again in the exact same manner, and oh yeah, was an hour late to the media thing because he live streamed getting a hair cut. Jesus dude, I know they wont suspend him, but they need to get a hold of that guy. As much as I'd love to watch the Steelers implode. Second thought give that man a raise and a spare cell phone incase his gets taken away!

What a total moron this guy must be. I mean I've heard of entitlement but he might be the leader, like we may have found Captain Millennial. And you're right about him not being sorry. He doesn't like getting crap for it but you can just tell by the video when he's laughing at the fact that they are saying to stay off social media and he's livestreaming.

It's probably all a facebook marketing ploy anyways. They should just embrace it and make him a superhero named Captain Millennial, the most entitled man alive!

Per a league source, Facebook actually encouraged Brown to engage in a Facebook Live session from the locker room after the game.

A Facebook spokesperson declined comment on the situation. One other source, speaking on condition of anonymity, admitted that there has been contact between Facebook and Brown but insisted that Brown was not directed to broadcast live from the locker room.

Of course, this doesn’t eliminate the reality that one or more Facebook representatives may have thrown out ideas for ways to generate more interest and bigger audiences for Brown’s Facebook Live broadcasts.
