Makes me appreciate cards behavior. Number 55 irritates me with extended celebrations, but within the rules

Oh, I get it. Thug is a code word for black, right?Mods, we gonna let code words run rampant here?

Jag fans are some of the most idiotic, uninformed hicks on the planet... they are even worse than Cowboy fan and that says a lot
Only cowards throw crap from the stand. Be a man and face the 6'7" 300lb player face to face.
Michael Bennett up for man of the year? Really? How does that happen? I guess lying about your involvement with the Las Vegas Police to stir the pot makes puts you on par with the likes of Larry Fitzgerald, Walter Payton just to name a few. Sorry that is a joke.
Bennett showed what a turd he is by attempting to harm another player. He should be suspended.
As for the player going into the stands after the crowd it looked like the scene from "Slapshot" and the Hanson brothers. Except it was funny in the movie. Not so much in real life. As much I cannot stand the Seahawks the Jags fans actions are totally unacceptable. You never throw stuff at anyone. Are they trying to be like the Raiders fans? You risk a players career. They might be Seahags but they have families too. I puked a little as I typed it but it is true.
Off topic - Is anyone else actually enjoying the Touchdown celebrations now that the players are allowed to? I find them pretty entertaining and some are well thought out. Better to watch a team participate then one dude (can I say dude or is that a trigger word these days) show boating alone.
A gull-like bird in the Seattle area.
The team votes for their candidate.
Wait. I thought this type of behavior only happens in Philadelphia?I've only been to a few games as UoP and concede that behaviour at Cardinal games has been cleaned up considerably, but I remember several games at SDS where there were a LOT of items thrown at players from the stands.
It happens everywhere on occasion. It's never right, but I'm not going to chastise Jacksonville or their fans over it.
Go Cards!!!
You mean these guys?thug (n.)
1810, "member of a gang of murderers and robbers in India who strangled their victims," from Marathi thag, thak "cheat, swindler," Hindi thag, perhaps from Sanskrit sthaga-s "cunning, fraudulent," from sthagayati "(he) covers, conceals," from PIE root *(s)teg- "to cover."
The thugs roamed about the country in bands of from 10 to 100, usually in the disguise of peddlers or pilgrims, gaining the confidence of other travelers, whom they strangled, when a favorable opportunity presented itself, with a handkerchief, an unwound turban, or a noosed cord. The shedding of blood was seldom resorted to. The motive of the thugs was not so much lust of plunder as a certain religious fanaticism. The bodies of their victims were hidden in graves dug with a consecrated pickax, and of their spoil one third was devoted to the goddess Kali, whom they worshiped. [Century Dictionary]

No Seahawks players will be suspended for Sunday's actions against Jacksonville, though NFL still reviewing melee under standard process, per league official.
The amount of apologizing for the Seahawks on ESPN today is disgusting. Pretty much everything I've seen is former players defending the Seahawks and whining about how awful fans are.
Apparently Jefferson is the first player (actually victim is the word they are laughably using) to have something thrown at him by a fan??? Seriously all the former players on ESPN and NFL net are acting like the Seahawks did nothing wrong. "Just frustrated" "Defending themselves" "High character guys who were being victimized by fans." wow....
Fans are drunken idiots. Trying to go into the stands in a RAGE to fight thousands of people is completely insane. #Roidrage
I'm sooooo sick of the Seahawks being infallible in NFL circles. That game was an embarrassment to the league, and that makes it 2 weeks in a row. Not only that, it makes 2 weeks in a row where the players are totally defiant and unapologetic about their behavior.
Add in the constant concussion protocol violations and failures... (Texas, Seattle, etc) The anthem stuff (I dont care, but a lot of people do) The NFL is doing a really great job of destroying one of the most valuable commodities in human history.
Everyone in the NFL should be doing a full mea culpa today. All the players should be saying; Our behavior last night was totally unacceptable. If we hadn't incited a fight, none of that would have happened. But noooo,,, the poor Seahawks are victims in all this.
Here's what happened. The Seahawks can't handle losing, roid rage kicks in for Bennett, he attempts to injure the Jags center. The Jags stand up to them, a huge melee breaks out, 3 Seahawks ejected,,, fans get involved.
Apparently in the eyes of former players,,,, all of that equals "The Seahawks are the victims here." Even Pete the cheats BS response. "I told him the fans pay to get in so they can do whatever they want I guess." What a freaking unaccountable piece of crap Pete is. Yeah, focus on the fan, not your team full of jerks who cant control their tempers or handle losing. You continue to show us exactly who you are Pete.
This is very, very off putting.
