Agreed. I think he sits out this year, goes to rehab, etc. He has a lot of work to do but just like everyone else...deserves a second chance at some point. If Michael Vick made it back, so can Rice.

Once again, it's funny how basically everyone is trying to save face now that the video went public. This video evidence has been in play since the incident happening. The NFL and the team are acting like it never existed before today, which is BS. It has been reported for months that this video was in existence. It's the old "you're only sorry because you got caught" approach. The facts have been know all along but nobody wanted to act on it until they had to now that the video was released.
I never liked the Ravens but see my post in the other thread. I said if the Ravens had any balls they would release him.

He didn't play yesterday; does it count as "being on the roster" for the purposes of guaranteeing his contract, if he was suspended and banned from being at team facilities? Did the Ravens get a roster exemption for Rice during his suspension and activate another 53rd player?

The NFL has also suspended Rice indefinitely, so no one will be picking him up. He is out of the League.
