It only gets better. Next Singletary will be rolling down the freeway in a white SUV... helicopters and cops following. The whole nation watching.

Didn't Singletary rant on about the rat in the organization who was going to the press about Raye, in the first place? Oh my. Wipe the egg off of your face Mikey. You are now, unofficially, a fool. So who, officially, fired Raye?

Mike fired Martz, who has now , seemingly, brought the Bears offense into the 21st century, replaced him with Raye, who just got fired. HC looks like a fool.

He was ordered to fire him it's really obvious. In the paper this morning they're saying this might happen soon or the team will quit. They're apparently evaluating starting Carr over Smith now and the claim was it's not fair because Raye is such a basic playcall kind of OC it handcuffs Smith.

And the apparent rat was the QB coach who is now ostensibly the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. So good job by him.

And to think that me telling my Niner fan friends that they were going to start the season 0-6.

Now this...I doubt the Niners will win more than 4 games this season.

Tim Kawakami in the San Jose Mercury News:

"You can only go so far in the NFL if your coach doesn’t really believe in gameplans or match-ups or schemes, and doesn’t know how to gameplan or scheme. You can only go so far if your coach fervently believes that willpower and muscle alone are the sole ingredients you need to win football games."

Wow. Classic self promotion. I can't imagine Singletary has much credibility left. Wonder if he quits or gets fired next? Maybe Dennis Green is in the wings. :D

After the game yesterday Mikey gave Raye the dreaded vote of confidence as we knew last year Raye was the weakspot on a Very talented team.He was a bad hire by Mikey hireing "Mushmouth" from the Fat Albert cartoons, now he is stuck with "The Rat" who went to the press saying he could'nt even understand Jimmy's garbled plays from the pressbox.

I know this is a very talented group from what WE saw last year and the Saints game they gave away this year already.I'm not looking forward to playing them with DA.

The same thing got Martz fired as Head coach of the rams when Lovie Smith left for the Bears HC job after SB 26 Mikey went back to his losing days with lovie and their Headcoach at ASU and Larry Marmie took the rest of the team straight into the toiley while Mikey fiddled with burning the offense.

Coaches matter like our own Defensive Coordinator Davis who is doing a very poor job between the 20"s and we seem to do better in the redzone so far this year.I have thought Davis was a bad hire since he was given the job.I think he is a position coach still at best.

Mike is going to lose his team. To come out after the game yesterday and support you OC only to fire him the next day. What kind of message does that send? The guy just looks two faced. The players are just going to stop buying the whole fire and brimstone thing that he does after every game. What a joke.

He also denied being outcoached sort of, at one point he said you could say we were outcoached, you could say that every game.

That's the point Mike.

To me it's like making fun of Ernie Kent coaching at Oregon or prior to that Steve Lavin at UCLA. If you're a fan of any team in their conference or in our case the NFC West, you WANT Singletary to keep his job. One less team to worry about.

Right, except losing to the 49ers is about the only way we could assist in that so that's out, at least on purpose.

In any case much like tv shows I like, I'm afraid Mike is about to be dropped from future scheduling.

Sing is the classis example of great players who can't coach. Sure, desire and ability carried him as a player.... but it doesn't do jack for the guy next to him.

Now that he isn't on the field, he can't communicate to his team what needs to be done to win.

I hope they extend his offer.

go Cards!!!
