Ugh. Her performance a couple of Super Bowl's back wasn't that great so the prospect of her and the very boring Coldplay is going to have me switching over to the Puppy Bowl(or Kitten Bowl).

If I want to see a talentless hack half naked on a stage I'd go to a strip club. Also, there are dozens of other acts they can get that would be more entertaining. Carrie Underwood for one. Hell, she does the opening for Sunday Night Football already.

It's like when Beck won Artist of the Year over Beyonce and that idiot Kanye West was saying how Beck should recognize the artistry. Um, Beck writes, produces, and performs his own music. Not really. I mean Charo is 176 years old and still shakes it. Doesn't mean we should make her the halftime show. Seriously, is there nothing else out there? And who's in charge of this. I mean, is there a more boring act than Coldplay?

They're not going to put current/edgy acts in the SB halftime show. The halftime show doesn't recruit new fans. They go with proven commodities and products with a lot of production and flash but little actual substance. That being the case, the best the NFL can hope for is to minimize its suckage.
