makes sense, mcdaniels drafted him.
His NYJ era never began.
He's complete trash...I wouldn't have him on my AFL or CFL team. The Pats signing him is almost laughable. Take snaps away from Brady or someone else...yeah ok
word here in NE is he will play TE and be a Cooley type player
One difference: Cooley can catch.
How do you figure? There are a glut of stiffs in the NFL who still have jobs. Tebow is more successful then Kolb and yet Kolb was sought after. John Skelton was able to find work in Cincinnati. Chad Henne will be battling Gabbert for a starting job. Speaking of stiffs, Gabbert. Derek Anderson is still drawing a paycheck for Pete's sake. The truth is, Tebow is hated because he wears his religion on his sleeve, nothing more, nothing less.
Expect 95% of all ESPN NFL coverage to be on the Pats for about a year.

Why is he trash? Something tells me it has nothing to do with his ability or lack thereof because he's far more successful than Skelton, Derek Anderson, Josh McClown, Lindley, to name a few who are still employed in the NFL.
He can run better than those guys, but is a worse passer than any of them.
The Pats are probably the only team that can get away with signing him, because it is so stupid to take Brady off the field under any circumstance. Even the stupidest, most bible-hugging Pats fan will get that. So, what exactly is he going to do up there? TE? They have the best pair of TEs in football, and even if they didn't, that is still a huge question mark. Special teams? He hasn't been that good at those. RB? Please.
The best theory I've read today is that Belicheck did this as a favor to Urban Meyer because they are coaching BFFEs and Meyer emotionally adopted Tebow.
Tebow is trash. When the Pats cut him, he's done for good.
The exact rule he should have been in all along. He has potential in this role and he could thrive. Count me among those who are interested in how this turns out. I actually think I compared him to Cooley during his draft. I would have posted that in this board.
The only way I see Tebow breaking out in the League is in an H-back type role. He would also do well in Miami because they utilize the Wildcat moreso than any other team. I do not at all see Tebow as a full time QB, but give him a Slash type role on the O and he'll blow up. Somewhere between Percy Harvin, Reggie Bush and Kordell Stewart. Some of you football wonks might be able to explain it better....
Edit: H-back is an undersized TE/RB hybrid, isn't it (a la, Chris Cooley)? That's not what I mean. I stick with the Harvin/Bush/Stewart amalgam....
How do you know tebow cant? Edelman was a QB before the pats turned him into a WR and PR
I'd wager that Tebow can catch a football much better than he can throw one.
So, what exactly is he going to do up there?
