His nasty and mean streak might make him a good run blocker (have seen only one run play), but he stands too straight-up and does not have a sound anchor in pass blocking.

Yup I'm out on Penning too. One on ones are hard for for OL. There's a massive advantage for the rusher. But Penning has some obvious issues.

I've not been too impressed with any of the O line drills so far. Even some of the bigger names touted as top 5 at their positions have looked rough.

Love Penning. Absolute tone setter. Can play RG if he can't demonstrate the ability to play RT because of his physicality. If we want to become a more physical team, these are the guys you target. Easier to learn to play with more knee bend than learning to be more aggressive.

Outside of Watt and Budda I do feel like we are a team of *******.

He does not balance well in pass blocking. So maybe better to play Guard than Tackle.

Been busy the past 2 weeks so I just been catching up on the Senior Bowl recently.

Pushing & throwing guys to the ground after the play is already dead isn’t exactly would I call a “tone-setter”. More like a jackass that needs to get his clock, cleaned.

Yeah I can't say I get the Penning love. He looked rough in technique and pushing guys when the play is dead is just chicken ****.
