I cannot stand Barry Bonds, he and Kobe are probably my two most hated athletes ever... however, no one cared that these guys were blatantly all juiced up until a douchebag like Bonds started clobbering the record books. The owners, the media, the fans... all turned a blind eye, Bonds roided during a time when roiding was condoned.

Any numbers guys put up in since testing got legit should be ignored and I wouldn't vote for any of those guys for the hall (I'm looking at you A-Rod). But, as much as it sickens me, Bonds numbers and his records should stand and he should be in the Hall. Baseball has been filled with "cheating" throughout, and as long as you don't get caught it has been celebrated. The era was what it was.

If Stanton hits 62 then people can go on and say "he hit the most homeruns of any player who didn't have a needle in his ass", and I'd agree with that, but Bonds still will have hit the most homeruns.
