Kurt just tweeted this yesterday and I found it interesting.

He asked: If they made a move about me where would you end it? Superbowl win with the rams or retiring from the cards/cards superbowl.

Of course Id want the cards superbowl as it meant so much to me and the cards fans but I guess hollywood would want to end it at the superbowl win.

HAVE to include Cards 4 years. What he did here cemented his HOF status how would you not include it?

It should end at the 2:37 mark in the 4th quarter of the Superbowl.

Touchdown to Fitz....mayhem.....celebration....cinderella......fade to black; roll credits.

As much as I want the movie to end at his retirement conference in AZ, it would be way too much to cover IMO.

Portland Oregon these days.
It's a heckuva story that he fell from grace in St Louis, lost the job in New York, and came here to back up a shiny first round QB, only to win the starting job again and take the Cards to the Super Bowl.

If they made up half of "Rudy" like has been reported, why not?

Since Kurt's story is one of ultimate perseverance...

to eliminate his time in Arizona would be a grave injustice. I can picture him getting booed from the stands in Arizona as he fumbles away yet another game. He walks off the field dejectedly. Later, alone, he prays. LORD, I still think I can do this. Can ya' give me just one more shot at it. And Kurt's "revival" in Arizona begins. I would end it with showers of pink confetti everywhere and the stadium going crazy as we go to our 1st ever Super Bowl. There in the midst of it all stands Kurt surrounded by family, friends, coaches, and players. He looks up and smiles. The last scene is the SHOCK THE WORLD poster. GO CARDS! :D

That was the best Super Bowl I ever watched. Not just saying that as a Cards fan.Not just saying that as a Kurt fan either, but he played great in that game too.

It's just such a great story...

In real life, before the Cards' Superbowl, Kurt's oldest daughter wrote him a note telling him how proud she was of him and tucked it into (I think) his playbook.

I'd end it with him sitting on the bus going to the stadium. Police motorcycle escort. Kurt picks up his playbook and sees the note. (Cue the music...) Next shot is Kurt's back as he runs into the stadium with his fellow Cardinals. Crowd erupts into cheers. Fade to black.

Announcer voice over, "In the end it was not to be..." Kurt's Bible is shown open to an inspiring verse. Something like, "He who honors me, I will honor."

"Brian's Song"-like music fills the theater. People are weeping into their popcorn because, gosh darn it, Cardinals should have won! Everyone stumbles out of the theater and nobody can remember where they parked their car because they have just seen the greatest sports movie ever made.

I emailed Kurt when I read his tweet and the people making the movie have almost too muh material to use with Brenda's parents killed in a tornado while they were with the Barnstormers.
Many many things happened in Louie that cemented his leaving which will look real bad on Martz in the Movie as the bad guy.Yet if Brenda-gate,Bible-gate,X-ray-gate and the team mutiny after Warners concussion in the season opener with the Giants in NY.Kurt Had to stay overnight in the hospital and Kyle Turley and a few others went crazy in the lockeroom blaming everything on Warner.

I want the movie to skip over the minutia when I wrote kurt and told him to focus on the Hits he took and moved in his little pocket from the "Kill Kurt drill practiced everyday with him not even having a ball and trying to stay in position for as long as he could till he got creamed.

Kurt would always hold the ball almost too long to make the completions KNOWING he was gonna get hit and hard but the completion was more important to him.Plus the term "Taking The Hit" applies to him not getting drafted, cut from Packers,no offers but playing Arena ball, and then NFL Europe with Delhome as his backup.
Arena Bowls,World Bowl and First NFL season MVP and NFL Champions with SB MVP.

Concussion and playoff comeback in Nawlins' falls short on Hakim punt return fumble to end game as Faulk won MVP that season.Next season MVP over Faulk by a few votes and a Superbowl that was fixed with too many obvious Non-Calls that led to points and Kurts worst memory till today in the NFL as it is also Marshall Faulks constant nightmare.

NFL Rules changes and its largest fine ever in NFL history are not enough to heal the wounds.Yet it made it possible for Kurt to move on.

Kurt took so many hits in Martz' quarterback killing offense with "NO" protection for Kurt For Years.Kurts new start with a not so talented Giants team and a 5-2 start had NY excited till the whole team got injured and Kurt had to handle helping his backup making 50 Million as QBOF eventually take over for Kurt and go 1-6 as a rookie.Kurt upset coach gave up on a playoff berth too early.

Coughlin sent every NFL coach in the league a tape of all of Kurts Throws and Chilidog took a bite on Kurt before once again bringing in the QBOF for the team.So my thought of Kurt "TAKING THE HIT" had more to do than just with the ones he took on the field.

Every Cardinal fan here knows the rest as Kurt played behind and with Matt during games as we beat the STEELERS in the nest.Kurt playing half a year with one arm and what he did that half a year at his age was HOF stuff.Kurts best was yet to come as Todd Haley along with coach Lott put together a program that had Kurt ready to be a fine AGED WINE in ARIZONA and Billy put the people on the field to surround Kurt with and Coach Whiz did everything to get the most out of everyone while Edge pouted and Timmy "THE SPIDER" exploded out of nowhere with help from Edge on the bench and we all know how close we all came and once again Kurt Warner left a end of a fourth quarter with the lead or a tie with 43 seconds to go in the Pats SB ...........and he lost em' both painfully.

Tom Brady with just over 123 yards and no touchdowns wins MVP while Kurt had thrown for 365 yards in the same game as he holds the top (3) Total yards passing records in Super Bowl history and that was the begining of Brady's career after the tuck rule"********" got him to the game in place of Oakland in the snow.Ben Rothlesberger broke tackles that hurts to watch today as our Prevent defense prevented us from the win along with a once in a lifetime throw in the Endzone. One DREAMS are made of and another "HIT" to Kurt Warner as he was gonna retire but he missed the game 3 weeks later and lost his tweet buddy in Todd Haley and their creative friendship I'll always wish we had one more year of.

We have another Heart Wrenching season as Warner sits out one game and ruins the streak of the "3" times he played all 16 games he went to the Superbowl.Kurt was always in a passing led offense that led him to take hits and bounce back up and be ready for that 3RD and long call he would need to take another hit to get his guy open enough to make the NEXT FIRST DOWN.

Kurt won his share of awards as Player of the year"Walter Payton Award" given to him at Halftime at the SB.And many player of the week awards as rules changes made it easier for wide recievers not to be held as much.Kurt end his career in the playoffs against an awesome offensive scoring machine in the Packers and had more TOUCHDOWNS than INCOMPLETE passes in his final win of his NFL career. The soon to be SB Champs took on a beat up CARDINALS team next week in Nawlins' as once again Kurt not only took a hit but the Hardest hit of his NFL career in Kurts memory as he got blindsised and most players would not have returned to the game"BUT" Kurt Warner returned to the field to play until the score was out of Superhuman range.

TWO teams over 14,000 yards and 100 touchdowns or more a piece and both from poor records to the Superbowl.Only Fran Tarkenton HOF'er could claim such stats along with Kurt.Fran could avoid with his speed while Kurt was always "Taking The Hit".
