You know this thread has really ticked me off. The Cards had a two year run of great football. AND played one of the most exciting playoff games in NFL history vs the Packers. And yet we get no special highlights. No half hour shows on NFL Network. Nothing.
The lack of respect the NFL's oldest continually owned franchise gets from the league is sickening.
Oh you have to win to get respect? What do you think we did?
Thank you Phoenix for not being as fickle as the National media. (13,000 at training camp)
I get
and respect where you are coming from Duck, I
really do...but do you
really expect a whole
two years worth of
good (not great) football to equal the
many years of quality football from other consistent organizations? I don't know about you, but the
(formerly) joke of a team I root for will need much more than
two years to garner the respect you feel they deserve.
This team was
THE laughing stock of football for
sooo many years. As I said, your enthusiasm is part of what
will greatly contribute to the change that will hopefully turn the tide
eventually, but that day is not here
yet (IMHO).
