I don't think his december record matters unless as you say they miss the playoffs. the way things look now dallas could actually back into the playoffs by winning 1 out of their last 5. if he doesn't at least win a playoff game or two as you say he will be gone. just my opinion because there is a window opening for some of the talented players on their team. it closes quickly. but you never know with jerry. he could go all in to bring in a guy like cower or shanahan(maybe even jimmy johnson)...or he could stay with phillips and or garrett.well, it' almost December and if/when they collapse he'll be let go. If they go from 8-3 to not making the playoffs then he's definitely gone. I say he has to win a playoff game to be secure.
likely job openings: Buffalo, Chicago, Washington, Cleveland
50/50 openings: Dallas, Houston,Oakland,Carolina
predictions:
Buffalo - Marc Trestman
From the Montreal Alouettes to Buffalo, just like Coach Levy.
And, by the way, he is no joke. I've watched him for two years up here, and he is meticulously well prepared, and players enjoy playing for him.
I would be shocked if Trestman got a HC job in the NFL.
I heard that too. and now a top ND official(or so ESPN reported) says that ND wants Bob Stoops. This happens every four years or so where ND just starts claiming that they can get just any coach to come to that revolving door in south bend.they were talking on CBS today about Billick emerging as the leading candidate at ND .
