Me.

Colts not advancing and getting outcoached by Footy Ryan, does not bode well for him. One of his assistants, ( ?????? ) may be jumping ship tomorrow to be the U of Miami OC/QB coach. Maybe the ship is sinking.

I thought it would happen last year. I bet that if Manning has his back he is fine and if he doesn't then buh bye.

If Manning doesn't go nuts running the ball on 3rd and long too much, Colts win. Hey, Peyton, you are Peyton Manning. Throw the ball.

Yeah, he barely does anything, how can they put the blame on him? He just stands there and stares.

Robot or statue?

Jim Caldwell tried to defend his baffling timeout call in the final minute of Saturday night's game versus the Jets, but I challenge you to find anything in his rambling statement that make one bit of sense.

Caldwell started talking about Santonio Holmes, moved on to the Jets kicker, and he may have even started talking about how yummy his ham sandwich lunch was, because he never really did give a good answer why he called a defensive timeout when the clock was running down and the Jets were under the gun.

Instead, he allowed Mark Sanchez to run to the sideline, catch his breath and get coached up. One play later, the ball bounced the Jets' way and that was basically the game.

The Colts all of a sudden have serious talent issues going into next season and need a very good draft to stay the elite team they've been. This won't matter a lot, though, if you have Romeo Crennel Version 2.0 on the sidelines, unable to figure out the basics of the game and clock management when things matter the most.

According to all reports, Peyton Manning runs that team. Including practices. Caldwell will stay until Manning retires and then they're really in rebuilding mode.

Count NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth as one who believes that is the case. To make things clear, Collinsworth was simply praising Manning on Sunday Night Football rather than bashing Caldwell, but after hearing his description of Peyton as a coach on the field, it does make you wonder who is the brains behind the Colts’ operation. Here’s what Collinsworth had to say:

“It was amazing going out and watching practice the other day and watching Peyton Manning run this show. There is nobody else talking on the field. He has the play sheets tucked down in his pants, pulls it out and he coaches everybody before they snap the ball. They run the play — he coaches everybody afterward. I’ve just never seen anything like it. Maybe Bill Russell in basketball is the closest thing I can come up with. He was the player-coach, maybe Gretzky was like that, I have no idea — Magic. He is the man in charge from beginning to end when they hit the practice field. It’s pretty remarkable.”

Manning ran the ball because that's what the Jets gave him. Give Ryan credit. He backed off the blitzes & his secondary play was outstanding. I don't think the HC is in trouble THIS year, but his TO with 35 seconds to go was a real head scratcher. Manning was PISSED off, but he'll recant & support Caldwell this time around.

Yeah, I get that, but he went to the well too often on those runs. You are Peyton Manning. Throw it.

Maybe this why Footie Ryan proclaimed it was personal with him and Manning. He was coaching against the real coach of the Colts. ;)

That's exactly the case here. Peyton's audibles have worked Ryan's defensive game planning over and over.

It was between Manning and Ryan all along, I thought Peyton would read everything again but them Jets did disguise their scemes until the ball was snapped and brought pressure. I was shocked.
