He reminds me of DD...speaks his mind & does crazy crap. But, by all reports he's always worked his ass off trying to be a better QB in college & thus far in the nfl.

I still think Meziels gonna be a helluva nfl QB once he learns the game & adjusts to the speed.

We have players in the NFL that beat their wives & fail multiple drug tests & I'm supposed to be offended by a hand gesture??? Really. I could understand it if he flipped off a kid in the stands. Sorry, but there are thugs galore in the NFL that deserve condemnation more so than. Manziel.

Complete opposite of Teebow in every way except the wheels, and Johnny aint built like Teebow. Making enemies before the season starts, preplanning a bird during a televised game, showing up whenever he wants. Talent yes, future questionable. Shame because if he had his head in the books and his team in his heart I don't think Hoyer would even be on the same field. Johnny was supposed to adapt to an NFL style so he could last, and chill on the running, especially in preseason when one can focus on his arm without the game meaning anything ala Logan Thomas. I see Johnny running a lot in the future, and probably from the Cops too at some point, because he thinks he is bigger than life, when he's just making life harder on himself.

Class less act. Not thinking about what he's doing. It's not going to stop coming at him especially after he reacted this way. I'm sure Te'o had to put up with some tough times.

Imagine what BA would do to him if he was playing for us and did this.

Manziel’s gesture doesn’t “sit well” with Mike Pettine

Count Browns head coach Mike Pettine as less than thrilled about Johnny Manziel’s middle finger flash during Monday’s exhibition loss at Washington.

“It does not sit well. . . . It’s disappointing, because what we talk about is being poised and being focused,” Pettine said in his postgame press conference. “You have to be able to maintain your poise. That’s a big part of all football players, especially the quarterback, that we have to keep our composure, so that’s something that we’ll obviously address with him.”

He is an entitled jackass who can't handle not being the big dog, can't handle criticism, failure, and certainly can't handle the humbling ego leveling that happens in the NFL.

He is nothing but a small fish in a very large pond and he can't take it. But no worry, when he is out of the league in three years he can be "The Man" at the local bar scene in Austin Texas.

It's not any different than he acted in college when he was the big dog.

I dunno know. I like it. I'm sure some ******* Redskin said something to him.

Ryan Clark just said on ESPN that what Washington players said to him is this isn't college anymore and these guys are faster than you are. Said that was the cleaned up version but they were basically telling Manziel if you keep running you're going to get hurt.

This. Stop biting the ESPN bait. Don't hate the kid because ESPN and the media decides to cover him 24/7. He didn't do that. Hell I'm sure he's sick of it.

Let the kid go to work and play football without over analyzing everything from his shoes he's wearing to him shunning a kid for an autograph of grabbing a beer after a game.

Go after the thugs. Ray rice. Rolando McClain. Daryl Washington. Etc. this kid is 21 and parties and everyone hates him.

Meanwhile these guys are wife beaters, thugs, murdrers, etc. these are the players everyone should hate.

I doubt it was a friendly gesture like you're implying. More along the lines "boy you keep running like a fool we're gonna **** you up till you're out of the nfl."

I can taste the salt.

I can see every opposing linebacker and defensive end wanting to get a piece of him this season.

I'm not implying anything I wrote what Ryan Clark said and if you read it he literally said it was the "cleaned up" version of what they said.

Do I think they were sending Manziel a warning, yes, he was right on their sideline and had been running around quite a bit so players were probably telling him be careful.

Now what YOU are implying is certainly possible but I only wrote what Ryan Clark said. In case you're not aware, Clark is the ex Steeler DB who has been a regular guest on ESPN for years, which is no doubt why they asked him what happened on that play since he was on the sideline.

Who does he think he is Jake Plummer?

What ? Did someone say if the Browns improve the other 10 players around Manziel that Manziel would be better ?

Never going to forget that little tidbit about Jake Plummer going to the Broncos.
