Yeah, we are friends with one of the S.A.F.E. supervisors and always stop to catch up for a few minutes each game. Yesterday he was like "Hi guys. Can't talk. Lots of fights today."

Niners' fans are the new Raiders' fans.

Jeez. Why would anyone go to a game when you can watch your flat screen, go to the bathroom by yourself and not get caught in a drunken brawl.

Thats what I do! The only reason I started going to games in the mid-90's was because they would be would blacked out otherwise. I finally dropped my season tickets 4 seasons ago, and I don't regret that decision. I am a huge fan of the team, but I just don't care to deal with the idiots. Plus, I drink beer for about $1.50 a bottle in my living room.

Once I earn enough dough to sit in the club level I will go back, but I have much more fun watching it at home now.

most of the Niner fans we sat next to were really nice. However we walked by a few on the concourse that were out looking for trouble. Complete thugs.

To actually be a part of the game.

We lose our voices supporting the players each week.

Nothing like the game day experience, IMHO.

Been to every game since they moved here - except 2 preseason games - and have never been caught up in a drunken brawl. I don't drink anything but water at the games and have to use the bathroom once a game. Oh, the humanity !! :D

There was one 9er punk trying to start a fight in the men's restroom.

Nice to see you again, Mike!

Yeah, at one point my wife and I were watching from the top of the lower concourse next to three Niners' fans. Chris Johnson powered into the end zone and after some high-fives amongst my wife and I and other Cards' fans, I simply said "Man, I am so glad no one had him on their roster. Any team could have had him. He could have been a Niner." One of the Niners' fans moves towards me and loudly says "Big @#$% deal !! You got Bobby @#$% Boucher on your team !! What's your point ?!" He was clearly looking for a fight so I just brushed it off and we moved on. I was tempted to say he had lovely neck tattoos but thought that might not go over so well. :D

the problem is these kind of people actually consider that a compliment.

This weekend I set up Poolgating for the first time. I set up two pavilion tents in my back yard. Used Sunday Ticket to have multiple games on different sets. Watched the games either from the pavilion tents or from inside the 9 ft deep diving pool.

Had some family over and we all had a great time between the pool, backyard, and house.

It was fantastic. Most of the time the tailgating is the best part of the game for me.

Oh and I gave up my tickets for this game because I would have taken my future father in law and didn't want him to be around violence.

I must be old, my wife and I haven't enjoyed a live game in years. We still go once or twice a year, but I have to admit I'd rather watch it on a big TV with a beer and some nachos. And halftime sex can't be overstated dude, I barely even miss the highlights, haha.

So what do you do for the remaining 10 minutes of halftime? :p

That sounds like an awesome idea. Next year, I'm stealing my friends house who has a pool to do this for one of the away games.

I've taken my 23 month old and 1 month old to both regular season home games and not had any issues. All of the people who sit around me are loyal season ticket holders and I don't do or say anything to anyone walking in & out of the stadium.

Whenever people say they enjoy the games because they don't do anything to aggravate opposing fans, in our own stadium, like all they do is look at the ground and pageant clap on good plays... Just reminds me of the soup Nazi in Seinfeld. Look at your tray, don't make eye contact, take two steps left, don't ask for bread, say thank you politely.

No soup for you!

I get that staying home is a good experience nowadays, but c'mon, how hard was it to avoid a fight yesterday? That one in the video was apparently the only one that occurred. Even if you happened to be right there at exactly the right time, anyone wishing to not be involved can simply.. not get involved. If fearing stuff like this is anyone's primary reason for staying home, I think they need a reality check.

ROFL, that was far from the only fight that occurred yesterday. Talk about needing a reality check.

You can go to the games and have a good experience. But look at BIM, he's a peacful guy who doesn't start trouble and trouble came looking for him. So Cards fans always have to face the choice, am I going to just take this from these drunken idiots or am I going to get into it.

It's always best to turn the other cheek in the stadium, but sometimes it's hard, especially with how aggressive and drunk some of these guys get.

I didn’t see any fights yesterday, surprising for a SF game. That fight was 2 sec from where we sit in 121, and I didn’t even know it happened until this was posted. It must have been over pretty quick. This was the tamest 9er crowd in quite some time. I bring my 11 year old son every week (have been since 2010 and prior to that a couple games a year starting when he was 3) and have never felt that his safety was in jeopardy.

You can cheer your ass off for your team without antagonizing other people.

I don't get it. Why the hell they come to our house and start something. Why even come to the game if they can't handle their stupid team...
