Give it a rest dude. The evidence between the 2 isn’t even close to similar/in the same ballpark. NOBODY was “sticking” up for anything like this. This is pretty damn clear cut.

Ridiculous.
He pled down from assault to criminal mischief. I believe (at least here, in the State of AZ), the max incarceration time for misdemeanor assault is 1 yr. Even though this was disgusting and horrible, it just didn't meet the criteria for felony assault.
He is F'd either way. The DV tag will follow him for life. I'd rather serve 5 yrs in prison than have a lifetime of DV restrictions and exclusions.

I have them because if I hear a crash or suspect noise in the middle of the night, all I've gotta do is lock my bedroom door and check the cameras, instead of grabbing my gun and sweeping the house. Especially given my limited mobility since my accident.

I've never hit a woman, but sorry, I can't agree. One can't always walk away. I've personally had a female family member smash a glass end table over my head while out of her mind on medication. I had no shoes on, and if the cops weren't already on the way, "walking away" would have meant cutting up my feet.
Thankfully they came, stopped her, swept away the glass, and got me my shoes so I could walk.
Zac Taylor's a garbage human attacking someone weaker than him though. I'm not a professional athlete capable of throwing the mother of my child across the room into the TV.
