Why, why would you remind me of this, you farging bastage?

In my dream world, we would somehow be able to afford the luxury of taking Tyler Warren in the draft. Imagine him on one side and McBride on the other.

Bach, I believe English is a second language for you, so I wonder if that’s what’s at play here.

When cheese says he hasn’t had any success it means not one. It doesn’t mean that he has to hit on every pick, which I what your post claimed was his position. It’s literally almost the opposite of what cheese claimed.

So about that “well…”

Any means zero no matter how you spin this.

I’m fluent in 4 languages and I have spoken more English than my native tongue over the last 7-8 years.

The quote called out Monti hadn’t had ANY = zero talent in identifying star players.

Immidiate impact stars - true.
But he has found REALLY good players that are on the verge of star players. That conflicts with ZERO talent

He has clarified--several times--that he's talking about star players. So, you're saying he's right.

similar kinds of college careers -- kinda "ok" production that doesnt match how great they looked at the Senior bowl

each is the classic 4-3 DE build not sure exactly what the Cards run

You can disagree with his point. But I was calling out your claim that someone said monti had to hit on every pick to be a success, which no one has done.

And I’m impressed with your mastery of multiple languages. It is legitimately impressive. I also think it still may be the reason you claimed cheese made a comment that was virtually the opposite of what cheese stated. If you don’t understand why, well, it doesn’t really matter, but it’s true.

Dude, let it go before you trigger him into lashing out about your anatomy and getting himself banned again.

I noticed Mike Green going 8. That's a pretty big rise. Not saying it can't happen but from likely late 1st to early 2nd, which is where he was previously consensually rated, to top 10 doesn't usually happen.

I think this might be an overreaction to Senior Bowl week by the mocker because he has Stewart in the top 10 also.

And the worst mock draft I've ever seen (from a Cards specific perspective) goes to Matt Miller of ESPN.

He has us taking Jahade Barron (CB - Texas) at #16. CB is definitely not the biggest need, and I'd prefer we sign a veteran to replace SMB rather than draft another young guy. Then, and I hope to god he forgot our first round pick as he went along, he has us taking CB Shavon Revel from East Carolina in round 2. Honestly, I wouldn't hate that pick in round 2 if he was there (definite round 1 talent who got injured last year), but the idea to take CBs in the first two rounds is absolutely ludicrous.

Edit: His comments seems to indicate that Barron could play slot/safety (seems duplicative of Rabbit) vs Revel playing outside, but any combination of secondary in the first two rounds still makes no sense.

My short list at 16 after the Senior Bowl in no real order

Abdul Carter (just for the list's sake)
Mike Green
Shemar Stewart
Walter Nolen
Mason Graham
Kenneth Grant
Will Campbell

Still under consideration
Armand Membou (I am a height snob for tackles and I don't love the idea of taking a G at 16)

James Pearce (I just can't get there with him at 16. Played 83 less snaps than Kenneth Grant in 2024, 255 less snaps than Mike Green)

Derrick Harmon (I don't see the dynamic in his game compared to other options)

Mykel Williams (I read that he is a dynamic player off the edge but I don't see it. Maybe being dinged up impacted him more than I think it did)

Ashton Jeanty (He is just so good. The biggest element missing from the Cardinals offense is home run plays out of the running game. Having Conner on the roster would not deter me from this move. Benson would not deter me from this move. Why I wouldn't take him at 16 is because of other roster needs and Jeanty being a RB. His talent just has to have him as a consideration)

maria's fry bread on 40th street and thomas

if you order the bean and cheese - and don't order extra cheese - blasphemy
I just got back from AZ dealing with a sister that passed away. While I was there I was sure to eat 3 things... ATL Wings, Portillos, and Maria's fry bread. None of them disappointed.
