This is Exhibit A of why the constant whining about opposing fans in our stands is inane. Or, maybe the Steelers fans in Minny on Thursday could be that exhibit. Or, Buffalo fans that will show up in large numbers in Tampa today.

This is silly. Nobody said is was only an Arizona problem. That doesn't make it any less of a problem.

Just because some other teams have a similar problem doesn't mean we should just accept stadiums full of road fans in crunch games like vs Green Bay. Nor does it make it acceptable for fans to sell their tickets for such games to make a quick buck.

You wouldn't say "Crap, my house is on fire, but it's ok because those other houses are on fire too".

Yeah, so what is the point of complaining about Arizona, exactly?

You should do your part. Fly here once a year for a game. It would be awesome to see you!!

I don't think they are pretenders. I think they are very match up dependent. I think depending who they are playing and what schemes they deploy has a greater effect on the Cowboys than most other contenders.

They are someone that can whoop a team one week and look average the next. I think they could make a SB run, depending on the match ups they face.

A bit like the Bengals.
I think these are good points and they apply to all teams IMO. There is not one dominant team in the league that can just steam roll everyone that they play for 20 games, especially with injury to key players.

Dallas had all of their defense playing yesterday for the first time since week 1 and it showed. They dominated the game. Parsons was like a pin ball. Even on Washington’s touchdown pass, he was being held by the face mask, otherwise he sacks the QB there. But yet, Washington were missing players on both lines of scrimmage. So you have to look at these results for what they are. Dallas have had players missing all year and our finally getting them back. Prescott is coming off of a horrific injury last year that could have ended his career, I would expect that he is going to struggle to be the athlete that he was before that injury. I think if dallas’ defense plays above average they can win in the playoffs.

Agree with everything, but Pollard is a stud RB, they just don’t use him because Jerry has to play the players he paid. His ego is what keeps Dallas from excelling.
They limit his carries to keep him fresh. He got injured in the saints game. He was out yesterday with a torn plantar injury. Without pollard available, there was a clear drop off when Elliot left the offense to rest. Pollard returns kicks and plays a lot on offense. Although pollard is a more explosive home run threat, he doesn’t block nearly as well as Elliott does nor does he catch the ball as well as Elliott and he can’t pick up short yardage very well. If pollard plays anymore than he already does I think he would lose some of the explosiveness that he brings. They need pollard in the playoffs.

Packers, Cowboys, 49ers, Cardinals, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Rams (in no particular order) are the only contenders. Rest are pretenders.
I agree, although this year I think anyone can be beaten at any point in the playoffs. Yesterday was case in point, all those blowouts turned into close nail biters. And GB should not be happy with how easy Chicago put points on them.

Cowboys are too loaded to call pretenders.
I think there’s something to this depending on health. Their very best players haven’t played together much this year yet they’ve won 9 games. For example Lawrence and Gregory on defense have only played together twice which forced parsons to become more of a pass rusher. their top 3 WRs who are all explosive, have only played together 3-4 games. If pollard comes back from his injury I think Dallas will be tough on both sides of the ball, but it will be interesting to see how they match up against the top QBs in the NFC. Dallas needs to lean on their defense and stop caving to people who want see offensive football. Lawrence and Gregory are really good. Parsons is a phenom. He is already the best cowboys linebacker I’ve ever seen.

Pretenders… Dak is way too inconsistent. Their RBs suck. They are forcing Elliot and he just isn’t very good anymore. Defense is bottom 3rd in league in total yards allowed, bottom half in sacks, outside of top 10 in both passing and rushing Defense. Out of top 10 in total offense. Dont scare me at all.
Where are you getting these stats? Elliott only had 12 carries yesterday and his totals have been down especially since his injury and pollard’s emergence.

I’m not sure about Dallas’ defense stats, but according to fox, on offense they came into yesterday’s game leading the league in total offense. According to ESPN right now they are 2nd behind TB in total offense and top ten in both passing and rushing. Yet if you talk to people in Dallas they are panicking because the cowboys aren’t scoring enough and aren’t winning “pretty” and they had a lot of injuries since the NE game.

For me the offense/defense stats don’t mean a lot. Physical/tough football is what leads to wins and that’s the only stat that matters. Cowboys have the explosive playmakers on both sides of the ball. They have to improve on playing hard in the trenches more consistently and for me they have done that the past 2 weeks, especially on defense where they are getting to the QB and forcing turnovers. They had their top 3 d-lineman playing in yesterdays game for the first time this season. Almost one half of football teams pass plays were a near sack/sack or near interception. The score doesn’t reflect what Dallas did on defense, albeit i admit it was a bad Washington offense.

I can tell you 90% if packer tickets are not used by the season ticket holders. There was an article written about it a few years ago when they were all complaining about a PSL tax or something like that, about there goes their profit margin. One bar owner has 150 tickets he sell every week, buses them to and from his bar had to pay over $100k. Of course he's made that 10 fold over the years. But still complaining.

Or better yet he should buy seasons tickets and give them to cardinals fans.

Good call if you ask me, Ravens have almost nobody left on their Defense so who should stop Rodgers in OT? Much more likely to win this game with a 2 point conversion.

No way. A FG beats you no matter what. Worst case is OT.

I think it’s a good call to go for 2. Everyone looks at the result in hindsight. Why give the ball back to Rodgers.
