Makes me mad that Justin Houston could have been a Cardinal, instead ARZ went with Ryan Williams in Round 2 and Rob Housler in Round 3 in 2011, Houston was taken with the next pick after Housler. I can not for the life of me understand why ARZ cannot draft an impact pass rusher, the last 2 double digit sack guys the Cardinals have had came from other teams (Berry & Abraham). I don't count Campbell or Washington because they have never reached double digit sack totals in a season and are not talked about in the same category as a Ware, Miller, Dumervil, Suggs, Orapko, etc. Dockett came close with 9 in 2007 and Washington had 9 in 2012 but both may have already played their last games as Cardinals.

Freeney could be a really nice value pickup the way Abraham was for us 2 years ago. Obviously I'd rather have a young guy like Orakpo or a draft pick, but so would 31 other teams. As we saw when we played SD, he still has some pass rush ability in him.

Sean Weatherspoon, if healthy, Akeem Ayers, and Jason Worilds(the favorite because he'd ben an ex-Steeler) are all guys that are young and still have nice upside.

Lots of talent out there. I would expect Houston, Worlids and others to be re-signed. Any of the top tier players will cost a mint in free agency. Houston, Orakpo, Worlids and Sheard come to mind as players that will be highly compensated.

I think it is more likely Cards go with a second tier rusher. I have always liked Darryl Tapp. Sam Acho has actually played pretty good this year, but still lacks the consistent pass rush the Cards need from the OLB. A signing of Osi or Dwight Freeney might be more of the Cards style, especially if they would sign for a reasonable amount on a shorter contract.

I would argue that ILB is a bigger need next year than OLB.

I would argue that I really like Weatherspoon, but he would be an ILB in our defense.

On that list, I like KJ Wright a bunch.

Weatherspoon would be great at ILB.

Orakpo would be nice, but will command a large pay check.

Lance Briggs would be my Larry Foote offseason addition.

Houston is getting franchised.

Our biggest need may be a Defensive Coordinator to utilize these guys if we bring them in!

Man... That Titans team is a dumpster fire.

If the NFL is truely a young man's game, then Whis will never be successful because he is incapable of developing young talent.

Bishop Sankey-best back on the team, and is relegated to backup duty because of footwork.

Justin Hunter-developmental stud at WR whose confidence I'm sure was boosted by Whis putting Just A Guy on his helmet in the preseason.

Jake Locker-not making any progress. (though I'm not sure he has what it takes).

Whew. Dodged a bullet letting that crew go.

Think about now vs a couple years ago:

Graves, Whiz, Grimm, Billy Davis, Skelton

or

Keim, Arians, Bowles, Moore, Palmer

as the leadership and team developers for the Cardinals.
