Bynes or (more likely IMO) Reddick are going to spend 60% of the snaps on the sideline, so it’s a little less concerning. But the potential for a high ankle sprain forcing Scooby Wright into the starting lineup isn’t great.

The good news is that Karlos Dansby is always just a phone call away. He want the old Los last year, but he’s still a serviceable starter in a pinch.

Gambo said Moats is slated to back up Golden at DE and will not be playing LB. So there's that. 2018 LB is 2017 WR right now, not good.

If you think we are thin at LB, Look at the Rams, The only guy I've ever heard of playing LB for them is Mark Barron. NFL is transitioning to 4DL and 7DBs/hybrids.

This is an awful take. 4-3 makes it even more important that linebackers can play the whole field, because there’s one fewer player of that type.

Also, it’s a passing league. Every down is a passing down.

The Cardinals are comfortable with the players available on the market right now. Karlos Dansby or NaVarro Bowman or some other vet can be signed to come in and fill a role, no problem. Wilks prioritized addressing the offense this offseason and would be willing to see how players transitioned prior to making any big acquisitions for the defense. Ours will be a bend, don't break defense this year and we will be better if our DLine can play to their potential. The Cardinals added vets to their secondary for a reason, and that was to limit the big plays in the passing game.

Bucannon and Reddick will be given every opportunity to fail this year.

Who’s going to supplant him? Barring some last-minute signings or some UDFA balling out, we don’t have the depth to be cutting LBs who’ve been on the team for multiple seasons.

I was going to post an article of his that said the same thing. He was at Cards camp & he was talking about his observations of the team.

I think they say that at every training camp they visit. I've never heard them say "wow... this team is going to suck" when they leave a camp.

Meh not really. This wasn't that type of reporting. Ive watched many years of football and they report how the vibe in camp and their is excitement for the future etc. Its bland reporting id call it. Not beating them down but not really praising them either. Or they will hop a particular area of the team like the LBers or the RB's etc... They don't always go out of their way to make the statement that each and every team is going to sneak up on the NFL and shock the league. I listen to NFL radio everyday damn near and haven't heard those words out of his mouth regarding others. There is team we know 100% will be good and they say that.
