let's trade for him. Up to a #2 pick. Think of it as us trading a buster davis or JJ Arringtonn for a SOLID QB. Myself, I'd go after Leftwich to get us through this season. Warner is fragile. So, too, is Leinart. He really is folks.

J.P. Losman?

Hell, even Shane Boyd would have done us good today.

Warner is fragile, so you want Leftwich?

I would love Leftwich, but to call him NOT fragile is inaccurate. THe guy's ankle can break on any play.

Yeah thast kinda silly. Leftwich just isn't very durable either.

Yep but suggesting trading for Leftwich is even more silly.

Well then, that's pretty darn silly. I don't know that my post was that silly. Better question: who is going to be our qb the rest of the season? Urban?

Seriously, would you rather have Rattay, Urban, Warner in a sling, or Leftwich?

Ok, you are missing the point trading for a fragile Leftwich makes ZERO sense considering we have 2 fragile QBs already on the roster. Chances are trading for him would mean we 'd have 3 injured QBs before too long, thus that makes trading for Leftwich(in particular) not just silly but stupid.

dude did you see his elbow on that play that was disgusting.

What drives me nuts is him fumbling the ball. I am getting sick of it.

I guess I am missing the point, because your post makes no sense to me.

Actually, the stupid one is you. I'm messing with you. Calm down. :D

:doi:

Whatever, the bottom line is the team can't have 3 QBs on the roster that have a history of getting hurt. At that point we'd be paying for 5 or 6 QBs (not to mention trading away a pick).

Oh, now I get it. Having three qbs with an injury history is bad. So let's gp with two qbs that have an injury history. Good man.

Tampa was looking for a RB. Send Shipp out there for one of their QBs. Don't the have a few on the roster?

What are you talking about? Now I'm confused, we already have 2 QBs who are fragile and you want to add another? Why not add a QB who doesn't have that history? Thats my whole point--adding Leftwich just for the sake of adding Leftwich(and he isn't available anyway) would be wrong because he is just as fragile as who we already have. I'd rather have McCown back or talk Plummer out of retirement or someone else with a history of staying healthy and with some playing experience. Leftwich would be a mistake.

We only have 2 Qbs right now...Rattay isn't injured, Warner is, we'll likely sign Hasselback this week...I'll take my chances with them staying healthy than give up a pick for a QB who hasn't proven he can stay healthy.

Heck we might as well talk about trading for Pennington as well as Leftwich, we can have the all Waterford crystal QB depth chart.
